Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH) decides what the standard is. They recently raised the min requirements: the Swiss-Made mechanical watch must have at least 80 percent of its production cost relevant to operations conducted in Switzerland. For electronic watches, the rate makes up 60 percent. the watch's technical construction and prototype development must be fulfilled in Switzerland. Production cost does not include raw materials, gems and batteries. under the old ordinance, 50 percent of the movement's value must be relevant to Swiss-made parts. For the mechanical movements, the FH proposed to increase this proportion to a minimum of 80 percent, and to 60 percent for electronic movements.

I had the 8801 for about a year and it was great but I really got sick of the crappy battery life of not even one day (it even comes with an extra battery). You should have at least taken the vertu and sold it on fleabay......or given it away in a rwg member :-)

It's sad that the one man who could afford any watch he wants wears a Fossil. I guess once a nerd, always a nerd. I use to wear Fossil's back in Elementry school now I just laugh.

Does anyone know how long a watch will sit at the chinese post office before it is delivered back?

I had a montblanc chrono and the chrono button fell off, I couldn't find the peice anywhere and someone suggested to get it fixed so I sent it back

I have 2 watches going back to China and neither dealer has received them. One I put his english name and the post office wont let him pick it up, so thats comming back, and the other watch has yet to make it Anyone else have problems shipping back to china? I just hope I dont lose my watches

I hear everyone talking about the 4th gen po but i read a 6th gen is out, is this correct? Is the 4th gen better than the 6th? anyone have a clue when the next gen is due, thanks!
