Hello RWG,
Just wanted to share the latest addition to my collection. I'd like to thank The Zigmeister, Kruzer, and Cucumber Jones.
Pam 024a Submersible:
Old School Pam 024a
Genuine Pam Crown
Custom Crown Tube
Special Lume (dial, hands, pearl)
Removal of Bucket Rings
Polished Bezel
Ultimate Crystal/Cyclops
Updated Datewheel
Custom Flat Cannon Pin Cap
A/R Removal
Genuine Pam Lug Screws
Kwong Black Big Ridge Shark w/GPF Buckle
Ted Su Vintage/Distressed French Ammo w/Vintage Buckle
Wristshot: Pam 024a and Mrs. CC's Pam 048
It still needs a couple things (gen rotor, gen CG, and another refinish), then it'll be complete.
Thank you for looking

Nice.
Now, Try looking for a lello's DW and consider a T48 crown. You'll see the difference
Lello's DW will not work. DW will show upside down as Lello's DW was printed in a clockwise direction.

how long have you been wearing it though?
most of these portuguese die within 6 months; it's sad
andy's 3714 has been running since his initial graphite treatment a year ago i believe.

27, 28 and 29 are en route from The Zigmeister..
sounds like you may need some more boxes....

Awesome shots. Where's the 27?

My wife recently asked me to find her a new watch for evening wear and she specifically requested for a watch with a date function. I asked why and she replied "it was easier than checking my phone". I was reviewing her small collection and realized all her watches had a date function...hmm. (btw her daily beater is a Pam 048)
My first love is Panerai without a doubt. Second is IWC. I've noticed that I have been wearing my Slevin more often because of the convenience of being able to look down and quickly remind myself of the day and date. Although it is more convenient, I still feel guilty leaving my base Pams at home
I was wondering what members here prefer. Watches with or without day/date functions?

Ubi & toomuchgear: Man I love those Tudor Snowflakes!! I am considering building one. Question is where to find the gen dial and hands...

The Zigmeisterfied Slevin

i had 2. One of them was B100/500 on my 2836-2 063 and my old 2893-2 063 had a really low double digit number. i cant seem to find a picture of it.

44mm Panerai's wear slightly larger than my MB Timwalker Chrono. It is measured at the case excluding the crown. With a 7 inch wrist, you should be fine with a 44mm Pam with leather or SS bracelet. I have a 6.75 inch wrist and they fit me just fine.
Btw, leather straps are the way to go. You could own just 1 Pam but a strap change transforms the whole personality of the watch.

S, for the A series style case/cg (as opposed to the Pre-A watches that used leftover Pre-V case/CGs), shouldn't it be the 6502 caseback instead of the 6500 caseback? I thought I read that somewhere....
i believe the FGD's dials are Pre-A with the t dash swiss dash t which uses the OP 6500. A series with with t swiss t uses the 6502?
@ FGD: thank you. i hope you release you next batches soon..

Most Comfortable: IWC Aquatimer Slevin, Rolex Sub Series
Lease Comfortable: Big Pilot, Fiddy

It looks lovely!
Wear it well
P.S.: Any pictures of the caseback?
Cheers,
H
this was the caseback used before it was taken apart.
Very nice!Is that a dial from FGD's latest batch?? I am waiting to get my hands on one for my 009
The dial is the first run version.
Looks great S.What Simona strap is that?
I am not sure. I got it a while back. Simona does offer custom/limited hides that arent on her site. I have a few randoms. Just email her
