  1. New auto Pams from the Cartel. these look pretty decent minus the crown and CG............but at $428+??!! Pam 088: http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=3365 Pam 156: http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=3366 Pam 228: http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=3367
  2. indeed it is a fantasy watch. i dont know why i like it soo much but i ended up giving it to a family member. he still wears it to this day btw my pictures are nothing compared to sql_plc's pictures......
  3. i would consider myself a "wearer" within the rep scene. i keep those that are worn more than others. i would consider myself a "collector" with my gen as they could possibly be investments.
  4. i have both the 6500 99/1000 and 6502 A357/1000. i also dont know which to use although im assuming the 6500 is correct.
  5. cant wait to see the end result of your project!! i am waiting for my Avitt DLC case to arrive next week so i can finally build a good 9a. please post pictures!!
  6. wow!! the patina on that strap looks great!! cc
  7. this latest 02a dial is great if you intend to lume the dial with tritium style lume. other than that, the font "Luminor, Panerai" is slightly larger and off color.....from a distance it is pretty hard to distinguish.
  8. I have seen his personally seen his work on a couple watches and obviously have more than a handful of pieces finished by you. Kents lume work is good but yours is equal, if not, better than his.... plus then benefit of full watchsmithing awesome job on the dials Rob. im patiently waiting for my next appointment safe travels to you and take lots of pictures!! cc
  9. It is a standard rep case with the slightly longer and thinner lugs. i think its the bokeh and the angle of the picture. Well it is a definite keeper along with the others coming The Savage Strap is actually an Olive Green/Brown Strap. It is hands down the SOFTEST strap i've ever had in my hands.
  10. amazing 2a and 4t you got there!! they are real stunners....not to mention the rest
  11. Comparing (to my memory) a couple Gen Pams and tons of pictures, the Pre-A's have very course beadblasting whereas A-B Pams have finer beadblasting. Then again, the sheen also varies from watch to watch depending on production times. here's a recent Pam 111E sold.....pretty close in overall accuracy imo but his PVD coating is too dark.
  12. The case was originally stainless steel. Avitt beadblasts the case before it heads to get DLC'd. The type of beadblasting partially determines the final hue of the finish. I actually have a couple more commissioned by Avitt......more to be posted soon this is the second one you have seen i would highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for DLC servicing. It wouldnt have been possible to build this without you as i was never 100% confident in other's PVD colors. thanks again. cc
  13. yes. it is the latest standard crowns with the good shoulders. cc
  14. Hello RWG, I have finished quite a few project during my time here and would like to share one of them today. I would like to first off, thank all the guys who have helped me with this...in no specific order: cMike, Avitt, the Master, Jaykeem, Angus, and Panerai. A few months ago, i was offered DLC/ADLC service by RWG member and friend Avitt. It would then be his first project with his first client. Pictures cannot capture how good the pencil lead finish looks in person. Compared to a couple gens i have seen, Avitt's coating and bead blasting are identical to gen A-B series Pams. Here are some pictures with some of my straps... Enjoy!! DLC'd Pam 001B: Standard Rep Case A6497-2 Avitt DLC Service Old 001B Dial C3 Superlumed Dial DSN Hands C3 Superlumed Hands H3 Cannon Pin Flattened & Polished Angus 001B Caseback Angus 001B CG Modded with Rubber Insert (gen action) A/R Removal Genuine Panerai Lug Screws Casual Days: Simona Vintage Tan w/PVD Buckle Sporty Days: Savage Olive Green/Brown Stitchless w/PVD Buckle Dressy Days: OEM Panerai A Series Croc Strap with DLC'd Thumbnail Buckle thank you for looking. cc
