I love this watch, today a good seller presents a rep that has a good apparence
In your opinion, is it a good rep or is preferible a standard steel watch ?
If you want a TT, get a 16613 instead, cost less and for the spare money u can service the watch and buy a gen insert. When the gold wears off, just order a new bracelet from riyi.

What a beauty!

Which TD will have the new J12 factory model? I'd like to take a look as I want to try out a new, super rep 15400.
Dont know actually, but here are some pics http://www.watchbus.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=2904&extra=page%3D1

Btw j12 are releasing a 15400 tomorrow and it looks really nice!
-
You should put it in salt water somewhere in the sun for a couple of months. A bleached look would even out all the bumps and scratches on the paint.
-
Screw fitment looks bad.

From what ive seen, they sell for 500 dollars and higher depending on the condition. Did u find it on vrf?

This is the dial I got. To me it looks beautiful. What do you think?
Ordred a Athaya 700 crown and a crystal from clark. Probably should get new hands too
Looks nice, where did u get it?

Looks like it.

Wow looks great! The gold hands i have are pretty aged so they dont have that shine. Great 5513 pcg buddy!
-
Hi broz. Have gilt 5513 ever been made with gold hands?

Just a status update, I ended up getting the screws from a very old watch parts wholesaler in Sydney so I've got her mounted and running.
i had bought the movement from siesta181 on this forum and it runs and keeps good time but the timing hand will stall( but only sometimes) I want to change the hands to some from yuki. I wouldn't mind setting up an oyster bracelet for it but have no idea on the right end links (580?)
But overall I'm happy with it. There's a bit of pride in the piece from installing the gen crown and tube replacing the pushers and mounting the hands and movement in the case.
ive almost forgot the disappointment in paying spin master to build and service the watch and getting a watch that wouldn't run right and leaked(took 5 months to build whilst waiting for parts to ensure pushers were waterproof and then another 3 months wasted sending it back to him twice)
then sending rolexman the spin master serviced movement and a new 45 min conversion kit then having him recommend replacing it as a cheaper option. Then he refused to return the movement and parts to me( rolexman is a thief)
i think I'm ready to tackle the Daytona that I've got in the watchmakers drawer. Anybody got a running
val 726 they want to sell holler my way.
Looks nice! What datewheel did you use?

Good luck with the project!

Greetings fellow watch dudes and dudettes. A while ago I came across a DW 7750 6239 case, fully engraved, looking fantastic. I thought that sourcing a dw dial would be easy, just post a WTB on all rep interwebz and wait for the spam of offers. 7 months and 50.000 WTB thread bumps later, Ive still not found a 7750 dial. What are my options? Should I use the case for an Alpha homage or could I fit a v72 MQ dial with a st19 into the case?
-
Wanted members' opinions on this dial, looks like a 6240 vj72 dial for a Franken project I am working on. Looks to be a rare variant with Cartier stamp (Rolex sold through the Cartier store in New York for a short time in the 60s, there are a few floating around but they are like hen's teeth). I like the style of it, just wanted to hear what the experts think. Thanks!
Whats the source mate?

Eu or conus?
-
Cant stop looking at this one. Its just perfect.
-
-
Agree, sending parts is not a problem.
-
Dont think there is. I had mine made by Neckyzips in the US. Phong also does engraving, but quite expensive.
-
Bumping this again. So if its not possible to use the dw 7750 caseback, which one would fit?
