Hi fellow watch enthusiasts! Id like to recommend an online tool for better organising your builds and parts. Ive just started using Trello for collecting all information about my builds and what mods need to be done, parts list, etc. Basically it lets you create boards with cards that you can move around. I find it really helpful to also collect links and reference images of watches.

Maybe message him. I have seen a gilt 5513 on his Instagram page.
I'm no expert, just a vintage obsessed moron who spends too much time on the Internet. I am however currently looking for a 5513 1964, ideally first quarter. I think your serial dates from 1963.
Here is a page I read recently, might be helpful if you haven't already found it.

Thx! The dial which Tonny has could probably do the trick:
A swiss only gilt dial would also be period correct but ive never seen those repped.

The thing is that I have a PCG case with 9 serial, from what i see the chapter ring dial i most common but some reference watches of the 5513 PCG have the gilt t<25 dial. I have whoopys 5513 gilt dial, wonder which will be more period correct for the serial number.

Depends on budget. Many are happy with Tonnywatches dials. They are a lot less than Minh, some say they are the same/similar/possibly from the same source. They are real gilt, but not lacquer, they are printed I think.
Thx his dials are great but I havent seen him selling a 5513 chapter ring dial though.
Depends on your budget, but you could check out a dial from MQ:Or, if your case will accept 27.6mm dial, rather than 26mm, you could go for a 5510 from Yuki:

Thx!

Hi! Has anyone seen any decent 5513 chapter ring dials?

Wow thats great work!

The old case I had fit the group buy plexi without issues as well.

Those legendary monte carlo group buys...

The case profile and lugs are thicker. Overall not a bad watch. Make sure to get a thicket gasket for the plexi-to-case sealing.

Yeah, i think it will need a lot of case work.

Sadly there are no good starting point reps for a 1675 build, you can use the cartel 1655 explorer case but you will need to take a lot of metal off the outer edges of the CG's to get it remotely like the Gen and the case is too thick as well. I have spoken to the Cartel boys and asked if they would consider a good 1657/1655 rep so we will see.
There are rumors that the cartel are doing an updated 1675.

Good idea. How much higher does the dial sit?
-
160xx or 162xx? Personally I think the 2824 works best for both, but many people will tell you it's OK to use a 2836 in a 160xx case. The 2824 is the recommended choice in a 162xx case.
Thx bud! Got the same info from StoneP. The question now is what the hell im I going to do with this movement

Beauty indeed.

This is the source I use, it lists the heights and diameters as well as the pinion sizes.

I have a gen 16xxx case, wonder if it will fit for a DJ build.

Hi mates! Ive just recieved a watch with a eta 2878, does anyone know if it has the same dimensions as 2836 or 2846?
-
