I bought two overlays....... How long time ago You bought??

I bought on they web site : http://www.cubic-works.com/watchtools/index.html Two date overlays for my Frankie Rolex project: Are passed 18 days , but I nether received items and what get me borrowed is the fact that they do not answer to my message and they have not E-mails. I copy/paste from another 3D, I hope you need it: If you're looking for genuine parts, the correct crown and tube for the 1680 is the current crown and tube assembly for the 16610. Part # 24-703 and 24-7030. It is a 7mm crown. Older crown and tubes like the 24-700 and 24-702 could also be used, but they are more expensive and the 24-703 assembly is the latest and best unless you're trying to return an old gen back to it's original condition. Rolex updates older subs with the 24-703 assembly when servicing older watches. When buying on ebay, you have to be careful, because other numbers are often times used and older crowns don't fit the newer tube. Used 24-703 crowns are easy to find and then you can get an aftermarket tube from a place like Clark's Watch Supply (Nostalgia2000) on ebay and it should work out OK.

Hi Stilty, On my 1500 Franken 'date' I bought one complete 19mm band, and fortunatly I solved that problem. Pay attention that you can not add 19mm end link to 20mm band too, they are unfortunately different. So I think you have jet one 19mm band to you. I get to my friend the no holes vintage GMT. He love it jet! I explain him the defect that BMW the GMT has; but he seed to accept them because it's very pretty . I find one watch man that has the necessary machinery to get the correct spring bar holes too, may be we get them the next week. Sure if will be so, I'll get you updated.

For Sure! It is one pretty watch, with foul different positioning of the GMT harm too But , if it was for me ( like for you RWG fans) , it would be sure no good! The spring bar holes is one must for vintage GMT 1 . To get one upgrade, appare to me like be impossible.

PT seed me, that this is the new production case: "Regards to the holes, yes factory change the case. The old case is very nice but now discontinued." The watch is for one friend of me, before to get my disappointing, I wait for my friend ( I bought for him ) feedback. May be he will love this object like it is......or............I hope!

I think that to get the holes from the external of the case may be very difficult , wile to get them from the inner ask for the correct machinery that I have not. The watch is for one friend of me, I hope he will like it like it is!! I get this picture for you guys, I hope you'll not fall on the same error I get. Before to buy the best is to ask for, ask for and ask for agayn!!!

This morning I received the PEPSI GMT I ordered from PT. It appear to be OK for me. Wile, the losing of the spring bars holes leave me attuned!! Sure it's not like the picture I see on PT site. Good is the swiss 2836-2. I 'll like your opinions about. Cheers Nico
