  1. Thankfully none. I like where my collection is, now more than ever. I've come to understand what I like and don't like. Over the past 3 years on RWG I've grown a lot. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I like bracelets, and solid stainless. Anything that wears out is of no use to me, I purchase with the intent of a lifetime of ownership. otherwise I suppose, I'd still have kept my blacksteel. I sold it because I couldn't stand worrying about scratching it.

  2. You're quite the story teller B. Dare I say it without sounding "soft", but that was cute. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I re-read my previous post from last night-

This is great and all, but 10 years! Its going to change dude. I've done shy of 6 months!

"How sweet, baby. A present from your friends on your website?" I don't care if Nanuq hand delivers a DRSD to Mrs. Admin herself, we better upgrade servers or transfer titles or something. Man + Hobby + marriage = target #1.

just saying. What you see as a nice watch I see as an amber alert. =@

Wow.. Can you tell someone was having a bad evening? I take it back, but its already been said. Just let me add then, marriage is a lot of work, but great.

  3. A really nice F :whistling: 'in watch.

    Our admin himeself..

    RWG spirit....

  4. I'd take his favorite watch out of his watch box. The Skyland I introduced him to of course.

I'd run it over, settling under my front wheel, then grind it back and forth a bit with my steering wheel, while he watched, for effect, then throw it in my BBQ grill and let him watch it melt while I cooked a nice steak.

Then I'd make him wear it all day long while I sent him PM's on RWG of pics of highly polished, superb Breitlings. and lots of :bicycle: and  smileys.

Then i'd be [censored] I didn't send the PM's from a clean room and wash my IP's and prepare for him coming after me like the Luftwaffe or whatever the hell country he is in.

    :p

  5. I wouldn't have guessed someone had to feed these in the machine by hand with the correct side facing whatever way. I had that happen to a Breitling clasp. I was befuddled that this could happen, but then, I was not. :animal_rooster:

  6. Now I need to try to rep this picture with my pool, my gf and my Tona :)

pardon if I keep the pic for the quote... :whistling:

and listen, take your time. If it takes many many tries, shirt changes, etc. to get this pool shot right. So be it. Just make sure you take the crew here at RWG along for the journey every step of the way.

Seriously, all respect to you, your gf and grail gen, and a long long lifetime of happy wear! :drinks:

  7. My wrists are not too big, barely breaching 7". SA is too big for me, and either way, a little fanatical in size to withstand the test of time. Just my opinion. I'd have them all in a second, however it took less than a second to answer the poll. Easy choice...

  8. The AR on the gen is prominent and blue, it looks like yours is less so. Is there a micro-adjust lever on your balance assembly? I had no problems like these with my black face version. The QC on this particular model seems to be all over the place. I hate to say it, but between the AR, the 15, the DW's, for the price I'm not sure i'd be enthused.

I always wanted to install black day and date wheels, instead of the white ones (as per the gen).

I apologize if I misunderstand, but the gen date wheels are white on all the Carrera CV2A10 versions. So swapping to black would not be per gen.

  9. Thats the nicest out of the box SMP ive seen in a while. I would pull the trigger on it, throw it in the watchbox and enjoy it as is. Don't get me wrong, it is not perfect. But not worth dumping funds into. Pre owned gens are cheap. I got a final production year electric blue quartz from Torneau, like-new, for $1,100. (the electric blue's are more pricey, you could get a blue auto SMP for around that price). So don't dump a couple hundred on the watch and another few hundred on mods when you can be halfway to a preowned.

  10. Your alter ego here. Completely understanding the lifetime theme. I want accuracy and ability for the rep to outlive me, which means the movement and subdial layout are very important.

The B01 is growing on me. I also feel it can be versatile, with leather, or rubber strap options. Its hot off the press, new designs tend to take a little time to grow on me, but I think this one may stand the test of time. Don't like it? Dump it on a nice RWG lad and move on.

Really, we both know it's time for you to step up to the Day/Date plate. :whistling:

    Just for you BT...
