  1. hmm.. I know Gio is anti-cape cod, but its very standard practice to use these in the watch world. Politely have to agree to disagree with you Gio. Do they leave fine swirl? sure. Is a bench grinder with polishing wheels and jewler rouge better? Sure. Not always necessary though for some people.

In my experience, the cape cod cloth restores polished surfaces enough for my liking. Enough for my gen TAG bezel. Heres a pic right after I gave it a quick polish.

That being said, the black txt is definitely not safe during a scrubbing with cape cod. Pick up a little bottle of black gloss enamel paint from a hobby shop. The kind used to build scale models. Thin it out a little if necessary and use capilary action to refill any of the numbers, surely this will have to be done someday anyway.

  2. Internet bans would be funny. Unable to use the internet anymore without doing dial-up from a spliced payphone in some nordic country, spoofing IP addresses behind $10k worth of firewalls and proxys in a clean room wearing a radar deflective jumpsuit.

Would basically brick that new Windows7 Laptop eh xslyyx.

  3. Nicolas Cage, eh?

A rep is a rep is a rep. Aside from Ubi-fying the hell out of a 4th gen UPO (which isn't even produced anymore) to the tune of close-to preowned gen, then you are bound to have a few flaws.

For the fit, finish, price, etc.. This is "Rep of the Year" in terms of satisfaction and value. Getting to deal with Reg, a bonus in itself! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Your pics aren't bad at all, and I'm digging that Omega vase. With your ability to snap clear shots, all you need is a nice big piece of white posterboard for a backdrop.

    like so-
