Hi i don't know if this has been discussed before but i am kind of confused.. i have 2 watches coming from china.. and in the ems site the tracking system hasn't been updated since the watch has been sent.. however in the australian post website it says that the item has arrived in melbourne.. waiting for it to go to adelaide.. is this normal? and if so which one is correct? because this is unusual for me.. as normally before arriving into australia.. it would normally say "dispatched from china" this time in the site it just says "arrival at sorting centres" then "arrived in melbourne custom and awaiting clearance"... so yeh i'm not sure why :\

how long does this take to do? thanks

so its just 22mm spring bars? do i have to look for a certian thickness ?

yeah its normal 22mm spring bars.. the thickness i don't know.. sometimes if u use a thinner one the watch will move around.. so if u go to a normal watch repairer (those ones that does bracelet resizing and battery change).. they might be able to sell it to u for maybe $2.. if u have the GUTS! like my friend with his datejust replica.. go to an AD and they'll replace it for u for free.. eventhough i don't recommend you to do the second one.. because ull be hated in this board if u do it heheheh joke.. i wish i was a vip member!! :@ i hate being an apprentice but i dont have paypal!

lol YAY! i had my trackings for 2 days now.. and it said that items have been lodged.. but normally by the same day.. it gets dispatched from the sorting centres.. for some reason mine hasn't updated for 2 days.. so i guess this'll be one of those 1 month delivery thing.. until today my watches have arrived within 3-5 days.. but ill tell u wat i guess we have to go through this..

my first order was perfect...

2nd order the watch was broken

3rd order were perfect

4th one is now.. i just hope it doesnt get hold by custom as this time i have 2 watches on the way :S..

and believe me ive spent more than 1500$ the last 1 month.. not good i tell u!!!

well i use both my yachtmaster and steelfish for showering all the time.. especially the steelfish.. but ive never had any water problem.. it's been really good actually.. id like to keep it that way

hey pugwash.. have u tried water testing with this watch? because iheard that this watch is water resistant upto 50m.. but i havent got my watch yet.. so i was just wondering if i should take it to the shower or not

Thanks for the kind words, folks. Sorry I've not been replying but I'm just back from holiday. Anyway, the date-wheel change how-to is about to get started as the donor watch has arrived. It'll explain everything anyone wants to know about changing the wheels.

As for strap size, I think it's 21mm. I got my watch from Precious Time and he supplied it with the brown strap. He does it with a black one too, so ask him about the straps. I'm sure he'll sell them separately.

And yes, it's a beauty.

As tempting as it would be to say she's a sweaty, fat skank, the truth is she's very attractive, and will likely look something like Anne Hathaway in a few years She doesn't drive, but indeed, the family is 'comfortable'... Not mega rich, but certainly not begging for change either. As above, thanks for the reassurance that the watch would either go un-noticed, or not appear unrealistic

I know what you mean there, and would likely follow your advice, but when she saw the watch on the screen, and was hyper-excited about getting one, so it'd be mean not to follow through with that having promised her one...

hehe my question is exactly like in the topic.. how do you remove the bezel insert of yachtmaster? i scratched it and my dealer sent me a new one.. but for some reason i cant exactly remove it :S
