  1. Hi fitmic, for the swiss eta one he's selling it at like US$270 and yes if it's gaining/losing too much time he's willing to exchange it for me.

Next, he also shared with me there's also a version of the UPO using Asia 25 jewels movement and everything externally is exactly the same as the UPO eta version except that inside is not using the eta movement. And I have searched through some sites most stated using Asian copy of eta 2824-2 movement, so is this the Asia 25 jewels he is referring to? And is it a reliable movement? Or could it be a Asia 21 jewels movement?

Lastly, just to confirm is it true that the above UPO I'm referring to running on Asia movement is as good as the eta movement one in terms of external appearance?

And kez, where can I see the eta stamp after opening the casing?

    Thank you.

  2. Hi fitmic what you said is quite true. That's why at times depend on luck too! But in this case I can get to meet the dealer in person and view the watches. So that's why I thought it would be good for me to learn more at least on the spot I can spot the differences and not end up paying more but end up with a lower quality replica.

  3. Hi docblackrock & By-Tor thanks! Dealer told me both are swiss eta... Quite true appears that the black version the font is more 'blocky' compared to the orange one where it's not. So looks like the black one is the lite version whereas the orange one is the true UPO. Good point!

  4. Hi By-Tor, thanks for sharing. I was told these are using swiss eta movements! I have read the sticky in the omega section but I didnt see any comparisons/illustrations between the asia and swiss date font differences. Could you or anyone kindly guide me? I must be real lucky too else I may end up with an asia thinking that I have an eta UPO...

  5. Hi pals, I'm really tempted to get the ultimate planet ocean with 45.5mm dial in orange bezel and running on the eta 2824-2 auto movement. I understand this could be like the 4th generation, so how do I differentiate between this ultimate version and those before it? The reason is that I don't wish to end up paying for the ultimate and ended up receiving a lower quality one as the seller could have mixed up and gave me a non-ultimate one etc. And could this be a potential daily beater? So is the UPO really replicated very closely to the genuine one including the omega logo? Thanks.

  6. Thanks for sharing pals! Keep the comments coming in. Well, I'm in fact looking at a few models like the FER00008, FER00004, FER00011 and FER00013. Any comments on these few models?

AR wise I'm not sure too as not stated on those dealers' sites, so if never put I assume don't have AR. Next, since these are running on the Asia 7750 movements, are you all comfortable with the movement and for the price is it worth it?

  7. Hi dear all,

Is it true most of the Ferrari Panerai replicas are pretty well made even straight out from the box without any further modification being done compared to other Panerai and other general replica watches? And which models are the better made ones in the Ferrari series? And any comments for models like the FE...08/09/10 etc? Thanks.

  8. Hi Pugwash so the news is true. By the way do you know if the Aquatimer is going to be released in stainless steel bracelet or rubber strap? I did see some pictures of it in rubber strap but the markings inside from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock is not in yellow color so not sure if it's the correct model.

  9. Hi by the way when you all mentioned about the Aquatimer new release are you all referring to the cousteau diver 2007 edition or which model are you all referring to? On Andrew's site I did see the upcoming coustea diver but its not like the 2007 edition as the orange markings aren't there. So which model is on Andrew's site? And still wondering how come Aquatimer don't have bracelet version...

  10. Hi Raymond, thanks for sharing the finer points for the IWC CD. Yes these are the inputs I would need before I make a decision for my purchases. By the way, I heard that the 2007 CD project has been shelved till further notice how true I also don't know.

    Anyone has any more comments?

  11. Wow for the past 2 weeks I was thinking if I should fall on the dark side and get a HBB...but with the price increase I guess I'm calling it off. It's just my personal opinion, some how I feel that it's no longer worth it for that price. Maybe I have woken up from my dreams. I understand a genuine HBB is worth much more than the replica but like some members have said for that price range, it must be of a certain standard. I'm not really in the rush to get it now, I think I will get other watches first and who knows when the price comes down in the future if they do then I will consider again.

*By the way I'm new here, may I know are there any historical records showing new watches being sold at a high price and eventually starts coming down after some time?

  12. Any more feedback pals on the IWC CD?

A little update, my local dealer got the prices mixed up. The IWC CD is ard US$490 and the HBB club Monaco is ard US$762. So difference of ard US$272 instead of the initial US$40... what a disappointment.

  13. Wow it's certainly a nice watch! And Sql, as you show more and more pictures of your watch collection I'm afraid I may end up emptying my bank account...

Haha in fact I was thinking if I should get this or the Hublot BB rose gold edition. Then again the price difference between these two watches is a bit wide. With the Hublot BB I could get almost two IWC Cousteau Diver! And plus the pictures here...it's indeed pulling me more towards IWC... Now I'm wondering if I should wait for the newer edition of the Cousteau Diver or should I just get this one??

  14. Hi dear all,

I'm thinking if i should get the HBB rose gold edition watch. I believe there are other members who are keen in it too but couldn't decide whether to get it or not. And of course I believe the high price is a factor too. Thus I decided to start this thread whereby all could voice their opinions on this watch and benefit and learn from the experience. And if there are exisitng owners of this watch do chip in your comments too.

Let's start the ball rolling, here are some questions:

    1. I understand from some previous posts in this forum that those 'H' shape screws are not really threaded screws and they are like glue onto the watch, is that true? And do they really fall off easily?

    2. Next, may I know what is 'loctite' used for?

    3. Moving on, it seems that for all the HBB their rubber straps are fixed onto the watch body using screws. And as you all know rubber and screws don't really go well together as it can wear and tear easily. So I'm concern will the straps come off easily after some time?

    Thank you very much. Cheers!
