  1. Actually, I thought her attempt at looking human failed miserably. Worst acting job since Shaq in Kazaam. You be the judge...
  2. Yea, a The Zigmeister "tritium" lume job is an absolute must for any and all older series PAMs!!
  3. I'd love to see a sample of the good rep AR in person for comparison's sake. From what I have now seen firsthand, there are vast differences between the "genuine" AR coatings that are out there.
  4. Well, it's too late now, but you shouldn't need to remove the bezel on most watches, including (I think) the UPO. Breitlings are an exception because parts of their bezel overhang the crystal, so it needs to be out of the way first. I haven't looked at a bezel with the wire in a while, but I don't remember having an issue before. I'll take a look at one of mine to refresh my memory and get back to you if you still need help.
  5. The results are outstanding. Enjoy your "new" Panerais!!
  6. The Zigmeister uses superlume but has a proprietary color mix that makes it look like tritium.
  7. The bent wire is holding everything together. There is a small grove that it usually sits in. Maybe you don't have it seated properly? Why did you remove the bezel? You shouldn't need to be using a press to reinstall it.
  8. I always use a hollow die which gets close to the crystal edge without going over. I do it this way for flat and domed crystals too, BTW. As long as the case is on a horizontal plane, the press will be exerting even pressure all the way around the crystal. My dies also happen to have notches for Rolex crystals with cyclops:
  9. I suggest buying the one in Angus's photo album, whatever version that is if you plan on modding (like adding a gen dial). Otherwise, others have already offered good advice.
  10. The UPO pics provided by Angus look very good in this regard:
  11. I think The Zigmeister has vowed not to touch these due to a rash of problems (i.e. quality issues) in the past.
  12. That'll be a great watch. Can't wait to see pics.
  13. I'm not sure, to be honest. His comments "I won't know what movt they put inside there" and "I cannot comment on the movt cos I only see the watch on the outside.." leave questions in my mind. Or perhaps there is something lost in translation?
  14. But how is the quality? Lots of reflections in that crystal in your pics... That appears to be an AR-like tint on the crystal, rather than actual high quality AR.
  15. "German police are hunting a housewife on murder charges after she allegedly told her children she had flushed their father down the toilet. The man, a taxi-driver, vanished three weeks ago. Police in the western city of Dusseldorf believe the wife, 52, chopped him up and disposed of 100 kilograms of body parts in garbage bins and down the toilet. The Muslim couple hated one another." http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/170374.html
  16. As an RWG supporter, you have access to The Zigmeister's articles. Here's one where he answers your questions: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?autoco...ticle&id=35 Although it is specific to the Rolex hand stack version, I think it's applicable.
  17. LOL, well OK then.... Maybe I'll post a separate thread and see what happens.
  18. Hi, Vaccum, Which CGs did you use here? Thanks!
  19. My $0.02: At this point we can't hold any dealer responsible for the movement fiasco. But now that they (or at least Joshua) are aware of it, we can ask what they are going to do and expect that they will do something to rectify it in the very near future.
  20. Yeah, you're right it's not the angle... I guess a dial was made with printing like that. Strange.
  21. I would need about 25 paid up front to do the cyclopes. Cost would be $25 USD per cyclops for that quantity. Sapphire as before.
  22. I've been toying with the idea of producing a new 6 mm cyclops with proper magnification that would be suitable for the 29,63,etc. I could use a couple spares myself. If there's enough demand, it might be worthwhile. And besides, then people wouldn't have to use a rep of my previous cyclops that was sized for newer PAMs only.
