ya, jkpadget2, I'm with you. I've become so picky about the details now that this pearl, as good as it is on this one, still bugs the crap out of me. The Blackbird is number one on my list but not until they fix the pearl and tabs. I talked to one of our trusted dealers and he said that they made so many of the crappy pearls that he's not counting on it being fixed anytime soon. I think one of the modders would do a bang up business offering quality pearls for this rep. I know I'd get one. Congrats, Yaron! It looks great - one of the best I've seen so far. Wear it well.

Andrew - great review. Thanks! The Blackbird is on my short list to buy but I'm still stuck on how bad the pearl and rider tabs suck. anyone know if that has been fixed in the newer models or if there is a fix?

Hi Joe, I'll go in on another if it fits my IWC 3717. I just picked up a 3717 from Joshua and the first thing I noticed was the herky-jerky sweep of the chrono seconds hand so I might as well get one these ETA 7750s before the Asian movmnt craps out. What about the day/date wheels? Any ideas where I can get the proper black day/date wheels for my 3717? Joe - by the way, received my ETA 7750 from you as part of the first group buy yesterday. Wow. Not sure I following what's going on in this thread. I'm still trying to digest the fact that vbarrett knows who this is in the picture. Very impressive.

I got the same 8 watch case from pstrapusa on ebay. He's a good seller and the case is very nice. My only issue with the case is that the elastic that holds the the watch in place is hard to grab hold of and is pretty tight. You'll find yourself fighting to get the watches in and out of it. But, over all, the best one I have found so far.

What about the YM from silixprime.com, the one with the ETA-2836? Can anyone offer an opinion on his and how it compares to the one from Andrew?
