Andy, the watch is brand new...Why should he have to send it back to the factory? I would demand a new replacement. Now if you purchased it awhile ago,, then the watch has to go back to the factory.... Just my 2 cts. which isn't worth much... MM

Since the watch is new, I would not take the risk of scratching the watch...Put the watch in silica gel if you have any. Otherwise I would not touch it if the watch is brand new. If you scratch it up, the watch dealer will not exchange it. they will send it in for repair, if new. demand a new watch even if they have to order one! MM

I would take it back to the dealer for replacement... The only think that keep working when the chrono is off is the seconds hand... Not fun when it;s a new watch.. I am sorry ! MM

Can you open the back and do you have any silica gel packets? If so.. put in a baggie the watch and silica gel packets. Also is you get the back off, use a hair dryer on very low heat and how air.. OR do you have a watch guy that will look at it today? Good Luck. MM

Actually i was wrong, You need a Threaded scrrew for the head of the watch. There is one threaded screw on each side. Those usually do not fall out.. Except with China, you need to tighten all screws on any watch you buy, New or Used.. Hopefully someone on the forum might have an extra.. Sorry for my mess up earlier. Hi, That's not a case back screw that you lost... It's a cap (threaded) it's the mate for the threaded screw that comes from the other side. I just ordered quite a few from overseas... but mine will probably be slower than toro.. Lets see if any member steps in and might have one.. Sorry to hear the bad news.. I know the feeling though!
