He's based in Essex and recommended to me by one of our trusted dealers. He can do the full range of services such as full stripdown and service, modding and pressure testing. He's the guy I've entrusted my UPO to for the full on mod treatment.
Religious fundamentalism and ideological zealousy is a scourge of civilised society. The Sudanese who are now baying for Ms Gibbons to be shot are nothing but ignorant sycophants. In some respects the USA has it correct. Let's bomb the f**kers. A couple of daisy cutters on Kartoum should shut them up good style.
I've just procured a Silix PO dial and want to take the logo off it and put it on my UPO. I seem to recall someone on here attempted it but was not sure if it was successful or not. My question is whether it can be done and how are the logos on the Silix and UPO fixed? Are they glued or are they pinned? If they are pinned, what is positioning like after installation? Any pointers would be mucho appreciated.
Can someone explain how the logo on the UPO is pinned in and whether the Silix logo can fit? My modder has some concerns and I need to know before I pull the trigger on the silix dial.
Silix's 3,6,9, 12 markers are too short and the pearl is unacceptably poor which IMO makes it worse than the UPO. I agree though, the Omega logo is the sole redeeming feature but to buy the watch just for the logo is a bit overkill really. I'd rather buy a Gen dial.
Agnelli only wears his watches the way he does because of a nickel allergy.
I have made several shirts in the Interno 8 cuff style but have since advised my clients vehemently against it. It's just plain vulgar. Period.
Surely if they have already filmed scenes with the 45mm PO on SS, continuity would suggest that for at least some of the film, that will be the Bond watch unless they do what they did in the previous movie and change the watch halfway through. Either way, this is the first time we have seen Craig wear the PO on SS as Bond and that is good enough for me.
I think that pretty much nails it in regards to the Bond 22 watch. I really can't see them going for anything else unless there is some else new on the horizon that has somehow slipped under our radar. For all of us who own Black 45mm PO on SS, it puts us ahead of the curve. I predict that come the release of Bond 22 the 45mm PO on SS will be seen as the Bond watch, as linked to Craig as the SMP was to Brosnan.
