  1. Hi Just found, and made a use out of it, a metal polishing paste. The brand name is WENOL,made in Germany, and used sparingly it makes the brushed parts of a stainless steel cased watch ,simply SHINE. It turned my 217 into a glistening jewel.Oh,and my Arktos too.(The Arktos, sadly, is no longer a part of my Pannies. My son in law fell in love with it and now it is his) Anyways, just give that paste a try,(but don't show the watches to any potential owner to be)
  2. Quite right. If you read carefully the headline just above the photo in the Spanish language Panerai site, about the Blackseal ,you will see that it reads "prototipo". Our friendly hard working replicators made a replica of it and out of pure luck, I have one..
  3. That's very nice of you. Just because my house is at Thissio, just a 500 meter distance from Miaouli street(that's the name of the street), I know all the shops there. Did you get any from the one that is on the left side of the road, while you walk with your back at the Metro station. The one that looks like a bazaar for leather products, with merchandise on the pavement. That area is my everyday windowshopping and shopping place If you want anything from them, tell me and I will be more than happy to send it to you.
  4. And here're the glasses. The pair with the heavier frame is the pair I'm not so keen on.
  5. ...which means, that my first? generation Arktos is a replica to an existing piece ,either production, or pre production, or exhibition,or Mike Horn's first watch. With all respect to the genuine (replicated too ,off Mike Horn's watch) , and ultimate? replica owners, what's the true reference? The same goes and for ultimate 111 replica too. Three production batches, thee different pieces 1.All parts polished ( EF) 2.Crown guard brushed (HI) 3 Crown guard brushed, and movement with differing decoration ( GHI) Just hit the link below to see what I mean http://www.mundopanerai.com/foro/viewtopic.php?t=615
  6. I think that you are right, so here it goes... http://www.mundopanerai.com/foro/viewtopic.php?t=545
  7. Have a look at www.mundopanerai.com Go to the Arktos 092 presentation and study the picture of the back of the watch. No limited production numbers 0-500. Is this the pic of a gen or a rep. The site is supposed to deal only with gens

  9. Try this http:// www.horlogerie-suisse.com/2004/Panerai/nouveautes.html It seems that I was in a bad "spell" mood
  10. It seems that I made a mistake with it The correct addy is www.horlogerie-suisse.com/2004/Panerai/nouveautes/html
  11. Hi, does anybody know which version of Radiomir is the one picture in this link? http://www.horlogerie-suisse.com/2004/Pane...nouveautes/html My recently aquired Radiomir is the exact replica of the pictured Blackseal
  12. It is so, if you think it is so...and for you info, if it is for the Falcon, you might get away more easy
  13. Well excuuuuuse me,but there is no need to post eye openers. Trust me, I know many things, that you might not. Just keep your cool and read the rules
  14. The Radiomir line is too dressy for me, and vintage does nothing for me. I buy watches to wear them, Hey Estaban, just out of curiosity ,because you've mentioned it,like many others in here, how come a purely action piece like the Radiomir became a mutant dress watch? And I agree with you fully, that watches are for the wearing , not for museum like exhibits.
  15. How nice it is to admit it, without blushing. Cherise The Love (Cool and the Gang)
  16. Ah Emmzy,I think it is time to get up off our sits and show our ID's. The Pannyman,The Breitlingman, the Rolexman, the Batman(oops slip),and the secret sexual fantasies that a watch reveals. By the way...How about some cotton ones loosely hanging out. And no labels. They can be itchy sometimes..... Ooh,I forgot rubber...(.straps) a, "get out and stay out".... (million laughs)
  17. Nice one Slai. Thanks for filling the gap, albeit half of it.(Quite provocative eh ?) Ooh, and Cats I like your excellent sense of teasing. Pics will follow soon (too busy to set up ,a well, nice set up for photos
  18. Just got them today. Both of them. Two beautiful additions to my ever growing collection of Panerai rep watches The first was an Arctos, then came a superb Radiomir "Blackseal"(yes it is written as it shows). And now these two pretties. Do I love them? Yes,I love them!!! Thanks, to all the nice boys and girls in this forum, that in only two months ,gave me the much wanted knowledge ,that was needed,in order to avoid trash and fantasy watches WJ
  19. Let us laugh three and a half... Ha,ha,ha,he The seamen, army or civilians, are not sissies, fugs, weirdos, you name it... They are simply gay,as in,ever happy. Ask the ladies in every port of the globe. No flames though.... After all it's only a wristwatch
  20. What a shame. If the quartz movements were used from the dawn of time measuring devices, the world would have been more than it is today. Or less..... See it as changing tv channels without a telecontrol. You can still choose your poison, but you have to get off you comfy chair and push the button with your finger.
  21. They might like the wordplay.Do they (Panerai officials) read forums about their replicated designs? Naah!! Just imagine the chances to change the name from Turbillon to Avenger .
