  1. I have a 6.75" wrist, but I'm also 6'3" 245 lbs. I think my size helps balance out the larger watches like the Legende and Super Avenger. Also, the way the lug ends curve down and the bracelet drops on these Breitlings, your wrist doesn't have to be as large as it would be to pull off the Omega Planet Ocean 45.5mm bracelet, which sticks out further at the lug ends and doesn't have the same downward curve. So being 47mm isn't the only indication of how it will fit on the wrist.
  2. Any differences here?
  3. I like the TT look of the Legende. What differences do you see?
  4. When they finally get around to the rose gold rubberclad, I think it'll be a huge hit.
  5. Thanks for the mineral oil tip guys. Here you can see the concentric rings of the sub-dials.
  6. Is the residue easy to remove after soaking it in mineral oil? It seems like it would be very messy.
  7. Try and buy one from a member, so that your first won't be a lemon.
  8. Thanks Shundi, so is your avatar.
  9. The bronze version is the one. Under good lighting the dial really shines. It's much better in hand than compared to the dealers' pics. I think the hands are actually a lighter shade of rose gold too. I was worried that they would be a very yellow gold. The double AR looks good, the bezel is firm and smooth, it's only the bracelet that needs some loosening up. My clasp doesn't close down perfectly flat either, but that can be worked on. Man, look at that dial dance with color. I'll be sporting this in Vegas soon.
  10. Here's a video link of the Rep. It gives you more of an idea of how the watch will look and feel. I'm not endorsing the seller in any way, only sharing what I found.
  11. I feel that the lume blob misalignment with the Skylands and Super Avengers are more of a "tell" to the non-WIS than the sunken date wheel, small date window, and yellow gold hands on the Legende. If the dial print is good and everything else looks in order, it won't be a dead giveaway like an off center lume dot or dots. Again, I mean to those not intimately familiar with the gen.
  12. Looks great Italiano. The gold color hands aren't an issue when looking at the watch as a whole, nor is the sunken date wheel. I'm sure when wearing it in public, it's going to be an attention getter. I'm getting excited about my bronze dial arriving soon.
  13. Has anybody else ordered a Legende and is expecting it to arrive very soon?
  14. It's nice to see what it looks like on the OR, as I never got around to putting the rubber on mine. I think the Pro II is the winning combo with this dial color.
  15. Amazing deal and a fantastic choice.
  16. Sounds like you'll need to open the caseback and see what's going on...
  17. I'm looking at the BCE 172, 173, and 174 that they rep these against, and notice that the bezel is all gold on the gens. Can someone confirm if maybe a previous year had the TT Roman Numerals with the SS bezel w/ gold riders and screws? Either that or the rep guys goofed on this one.
  18. As of this moment, they are not priced yet.
  19. They look good, but I don't think it's the factory putting out the so-called V3's. It's a shame they don't have the good pearl and updated date wheel on these.
  20. I agree with Chieftang, that the black might just be the best looking of the updated dials. The red printing on the dial contrasts well with black. I still love my blue sticks dial though. I'll just have to add the black to my collection soon.
  21. Who's got the best sub?
  22. Does anyone know if the date font used in the Asian clone movement of the UPO looks identical to the Swiss movement? I'm not referring to the "lite" version that's out. I'm talking about the fact that I've read a few people have ordered what they thought were Swiss movements, only to find out that they are Asian clones. On Angus's site, he has the option of the two movements and it's $60 more for the Swiss. Now obviously I already know to get the Swiss. My question is can I spot which movement is used strictly from the date wheel, or is the font so similar between the movements that I must remove the case back to verify it. Let's say I'm buying a used one from somebody who thinks he got something he didn't and swears it's Swiss.
  23. Looks very clean. You're going to have the complete set of '08's. Nice! So Italiano, you're not going to keep any of the arabic numerals?
  24. oic My Skyland V2 crown stem is a little loose in the tube, but my old V1 was better; less wobble.
