This was discussed many a time before. I was looking to do the exact same thing, since the gen bezels are easily obtainable. It is possible to pull the rep bezel off. It's not easy, but even if you do manage to, there is a ring that is missing on the V2 case where the gen bezel screws would attach under to hold it in place. Without this, the gen bezel slips right off. The V1 SA case can accept a gen bezel, but comes with its own set of issues.

Looks very good. I'd also like to see it natural light. Could you confirm the color around the numerals, is it black or does it match the dial color?

I'm sure the V3 will have the SS outline around the numerals and cream tachy ring fixed, but then introduce other flaws that weren't originally there.

Has anybody else received this watch yet and can post some quality pics? I'd like to see the numeral outlines if they are SS or painted, also the date window color up close.

Josh ships fast. There is a member selling Pro II bracelets for a great price, or you can find it and the batons dial on eBay. Try to find a watch repair shop in your hometown that can put the dial in, then you are all set.

There is no difference. The "updated" means it is the corrected bright white dial. It was first released with an incorrect champagne white dial color.

Try an all fresh fruit diet for a week and drink nothing but water. Also get out and walk for at least 30 minutes a day. See what you think after a week. It's a whole lot safer than saltwater and starvation.

The AP logo on the dial is wrong. Argh! It was more accurate looking on the secs @ 9. I wonder if they'll fix it. It's still a great looking watch.
