  1. What is a dodgy subdial position?
  2. No 22mm rep yet.
  3. Yeah, I think it would be very hard to call out. Thanks.
  4. First, a big thanks to Chieftang for making this project happen. He's one of the best, and we're lucky to have him as part of the team. What can I say about the Super Avenger, it's the most impressive of the Aeromarine series and really grabs people's attention when you wear it. So, being that I have both the black and white arabic gen dials already, I thought I'd give a blue dial a try with the newer batons (or sticks) markers. I've been wanting to get my hands on this newly redesigned dial since it was announced. To my eyes, the blue color is more like a blue-gray. I like it because it is uncommon and different from my other watches. Sitting on a gen Pro II. Yeah, it'll look great with a nice pair of jeans. Here you can see the guilloche texture on the sub-dials a la the Skyland, except reversed.
  5. chronoluvvv is good person to deal with. Our watch transaction went very smoothly. I recommend him highly.

  6. Maybe if the Stuhrling was $150, but not $350+
  7. Hey B&O, I'm psyched. I just got word that my Blue sticks is shipping. Hopefully I'll get pics up on a thread by Sunday and thank the great one who made it happen.
  8. Many have a preference to which they like better, the sticks or the arabic dials. I like them both equally. They each have their own appeal and completely change the look of the watch.
  9. I know what you mean. Someone once told me I'd rather admire my prized items in a glass cage. Maybe that's why I ended up with fish for pets, instead of dogs.
  10. Well I happened to own a black 6.75 with the updated maroon datewheels, and compared to the single sided inner AR on the Panerai Arktos and several Breitling reps I have, the 6.75 had ZERO AR. Who knows, maybe they're spraying it with blue tint now, I know Angus offers some kind of spray coating single sided, but from my hands on with the 6.75 and several forum reads from others, it ain't there with any measurable effect.
  11. You know we need some wrist shots of those bad boys.
  12. Oh, I see. So you really believe that dealers marketing slogans like 1:1 exact interchangeable copy, Genuine Hublot OEM ceramic bezel, and Swiss ETA movement are all always entirely honest, just as the "light AR coating" thing.
  13. So you took my suggestion and kicked it up a notch with gens. Nice. I'm getting a Blue Sticks/Batons dial very soon. So we can see all 3 colors posted very soon.
  14. Yes, very!!!!!! Probably an AD $3600 - $4200 USD ea. No, because they are gens
  15. I'm assuming it is a rep 6.75 you're talking about. Unless you had it sent out for AR service, it will have no AR at all.
  16. Maybe because you act like a spammer; drumming up business by PM'ing all members and posting links? You'll probably get banned soon and your IP range.
  17. Just noticed someone put one up for bidding on fleabay.
  18. ...and they'll still get the lume blobs way off-center behind the batons and triangle at 12.
  19. OH SNAP! Dave, you're watch kicks @$$, bro. Congrats.
  20. Hey Chieftang, put me down for a sticks dial if you can. I'd like to rock one.
  21. True that, but it can be fixed to "damn close" with some heavy $$$ and frankening up.
  22. Both. You'll like the watch that much. Heck, Italiano bought all 3 colors and I can't blame him for doing it. If the baton dials were around I'd buy em in a flash. I thought that gray was the popular Skyland, because so many had other black dial watches already.
  23. Deja vu perhaps?
  24. No, those are not rep dials.
