LOL...
For 3000 pound you can barely buy and (old) Stainless Steel DateJust...
Scam for sure (the pics could be of a gen gold Daytona, once he get the money he'll send a 1000$, or less, Gold Wrapped rep)
A suggestion... next time resize the pics you post in the thread... it took ages to open all of them... heavy post!
Edit : after a quick search I can say that a gen gold Daytona would sell for 12,000 to 20,000 pounds...

@Legend Lesson learnt... thank you!

About a reliable movement... all the 2824 and 2836 clones are reliable as the Miyotas, the chrono clones not really...
If you want a "good" watch for 400$ or less then buy an affordable Gen (Hamilton and Tissot are my fav....then Bulova,Seiko,Citizen...)
Who buy a rep usually is aware of its limit.
This one is sold for 332 € (here in Italy)

For swimming and/or diving I would buy a Gen... Or bring your rep to the watch smith to check the waterproofing...
(...and I would stay away from any chrono... too much holes!)

Do they use a better movement?

Some strange behaviour here too... but I have an old PC (I really don't want to change my OS to Win10... my wife and my daughter have it on their computer and I must say I HATE IT)
BTW... looks like the Boss is working at it...

Nice reading... Thank you!

Thank you both for your help...
Maybe I'll pull the trigger for an old style Breitling Chronomat (I've had two gen that had the same issue : hour counter didn't reset to 12... both sold...)
I case of fault I know a man that can fix it with his magic wands... uhm... HANDS... @Legend

Again... the knowledge belongs here... The knowledge belongs to Legend... or, better, Legend IS the knowledge

I just realized the bracelet has the 571 end pieces which are correct for the Daytonas
Wow... I was sure that members here have knowledge but...to recognize even the endpieces... hat off mate!
The watch should be 36mm (at least is stated as 36)... but I think to give up since I just bought an Explorer I (at this point to turn it into an Explorer is useless...)
Many thanks for your help!

I Can't say anything about the 904L (I think that there are none on the rep market... But I can't tell the difference between 316L and 904L)
Usually the simpler movements are reliable (no GMT, no chrono, etc.) but I would stick with 2824/2836 clone and the Miyotas. I also have some infamous 2813 that are working just fine... maybe I've been lucky.
If you are going for complications.... well is what you will get (in my language complications = complicazioni means "Troubles" "Issues"...)

You still get this? I am using chrome as my main browser and I have no issues. Any other Crhome-users out there with this problem?

Hello all,
today I realized that Mary has some "vintage" Oyster Perpetual for sale... I love the old version (36mm,plain bezel, Oyster bracelet,date...) but this watch reminds me the early clones with his veeeery small date window...
Here's the link... http://marywatch.net/goods.php?id=1259
How can I fix this flaw? (A flaw for my taste, of course)
The glass is plexi... maybe a gen glass would do the trick? Will it fit?
What about a date wheel overlay?
Any suggestion?
Thank you!

That's the "right" link/page....
(or click here to go to Ryan's InTime page https://www.intime02.co/audemars-piguet/4001-royal-oak-41mm-15400-v3-jf-1-1-best-edition-black-dial-on-ss-bracelet-a3120.html )
Indeed... same address...

You're welcome mate...

Also the dial feet are @ min 43 and min 13, does that sound right for a 2836?
That's fine for ETA 2824/2836

I wonder if I’ve opened the gates of hell for her by making her gender known mate. Lol
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkAs long as I'm registered here I can only see polite gentlemen that can't harm any ladies/girls sensibility...

"kinkinza is no young man, nor an old one either. She is a nice and bright young lady"
I guessed that (looking at that bare wrist/arm) but I was unsure... that's why I didn't say anything about the gender...
Nice to have a woman within our lines...
Once again, welcome Kinkinza!

I'm going to buy a Chrono Watch... I'm aware that the 7750 clone with seconds @ 12 is prone to fault/issues
What about the more traditional 6-9-12 or 3-6-9 counters with continous seconds @ 9? (talking about asian 7750 clone of course)
Thank you.

I was only trying to explain why (in my opinion) it's not an easy task to sell that watch...
If you make questions you may get answers that you don't like.
(Don't sell it... wait until you can fix it... it could be easy and cheap... )
