I have some issues with a 3 weeks old gmt-master II with a a3186 movt inside. Movement runs but the second hand seems to get stuck at 55-56s, a wind a little shake or even a tick on the watch has it going again but it’s very unreliable for telling time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Recently got this new gmt-mster 2 from toro but the movement keeps stopping at 56s. It will easily get going again but it does not keep accurate time. I haven’t had it a full month. Do I send it back to china or are there some EU watchsmiths that can fix this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sure 904L steel is very nice, but I would really enjoy a working chrono that's thinner or some watches I can actually swim with. And in general some more reliable movements could definetely not hurt the rep game. What are everyone's opinions on this? Is it too much to ask to improve on the functionality off the watch? At 400$ dollar you can get an automatic diver from other brands that even designed the watches themselves.

You did have to put in quite some money to get here though? Gen movements are hard to acquire and not cheap. I’m looking at a daytona for my 21st but it’s most likely not available.
