I'm right handed, but I also wear my watch on my right wrist .. i've tried to switch but its too unnatural now.. anyone else grow up this way? -- it leads to a lot more dings and damage on my watches i'm afraid.

gotta say the rep scene has really blossomed ..these first class and super rep crops are really nice to have... my next PAM is going to be PAM 061 -- i'm trying really hard to be responsible and wait 2 months before ordering

FxrAndy -- Yeah, but i think this may be fixable whenever i have the movement serviced in the future.

I just received this beauty from Andrew http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=PN089&x=0&y=0 A bit pricey at about $400 once you pay shipping, but I just fell in love with the Titanium brushed look and the GMT dial. -- Quick delivery from Andrew, can't wait to go outside and see how the dial looks in the sunlight. I really like the strap that Andrew is shipping with this watch, great grey color, nice suede leather, and super soft, its VERY comfortable, my wrist is on the small side (about 6 3/4"), and i have no discomfort with the 44mm case with this strap. I think the dial might be about a millimiter too low, the L SWISS MADE L seems to be cut-off .. - might just be my angle in the shot though.

umm - well after doing a little googling, it seems that the noise and wobble is a characteristic of the 7750 movement. -- i'm glad, since it means i didn't get a defective watch -- photos coming soon.

The new PAM 089 i just received has something peculiar .. When i type or move about i can hear and feel the rotor (or what i guess is the rotor) spining inside the case (i've owned other automatic watches where this does not happen) .. The rep i got has an asian 7750. Anyone else have experience with 7750's and should you be able to hear and feel the rotor inside the case? .. Is this something that likely can be fixed simply by servicing the movement and tightening something down?

sent a msg to seller -- he said it was absolutely genuine .. who am i to argue .. (strap looks 100% rep)

walden -- dont send the watch back to china for service .. you'll be better off finding someone that can work on your watch on your end of the world .. you'll get it done faster and run less risk of it being lost along the way.

The strap did give away the rep .. (mental note to replace strap on my pam asap) .. the other giveaway was the lume shot. otherwise it was undistinguishable to me.

nice job -- what weight leather are you using to make the strap from if you dont mind me asking? ..

After a few days of wearing this watch i'm beginning to realize that polished steel is not really my cup of tea .. and i may prefer brushed finishes .. i have a PAM089 coming soon and will get a chance to compare the brushed titanium finish to this one .. Depending on how i feel about the polished steel, vs brushed titanium, i may end up selling this piece to get a PAM 177 ..

Crappy cellphone shot

The rep strap that came with my PAM 111n from Trusty is surprisingly good looking, I have a friend with a gen PAM (not sure which model) but i'm looking forwarqd to comparing straps, buckles and more if they are closely related models. The strapis a bit stiff but thats not so bad .. There have been huge improvements in the last 5 years in the rep space .. so many reps that are now very close to the gen .. prices are higher .. but luckily i make more money now ..

thanks -- i did a quick search after posting (probably should have done that first!) - and that was the conclusion i was beginning to draw from other threads .. its really nice to have a forum to get some help, thanks again.

I'm looking at a QC image of my watch and it looks like a decent specimen Rate of 0 s/d BE of 0 The amplitude seems a little high at 321 .. would that concern anyone .. could the amplitude be off because the lift angle was set to 52 for an Asian Valjoux 7750 ? Just looking to get some opinions on whether an amplitude of over 310 is something worth worrying about, specially given that the BE and rate look really good.

I use gmail .. you dont need to use google drive to use attachments in the compose window just click on the paperclip at the bottom of the compose window and you can attach any file.. whats the problem?
