  1. Don't know why, but the watch looks really good in these pics. Where did you source yours from?
  2. Focus is horrid. You need to invest in a proper camera. A lot of cheap ones out there with decent macro modes. I have a Canon A620. Does wonders.
  3. Awesome post Thanks! Can I ask you a favour please gioarmani, Can you measure the case size+bezel on the rep and gen and let me know? Many thanks
  4. I'm sorry but the CG's are different. I've studied plenty of pics and Puretimes is shorter and fatter. If you want I can post a few pics to show you.
  5. Looks like Puretime's is slightly different. Especially the CG's. What you think? Puretime's SD
  6. Great rep! Any possibility you can measure the case including the bezel for us? Many thanks
  7. Nice rep! How much does the case diameter measure including the bezel?
  8. I think you were looking at the wrong pics... this doesn't look like a zit to me
  9. Can't wait! Which dealer are you getting yours from?
  10. Just another observation on case size... The gen sea dweller = 39.5 x 14.8 Andrew, Josh and Paul's = 41 x 14.5 (1.5mm difference on the case diameter is rather substantial) Angus = 39.7 x 14.8
  11. For those who are interested: Rolex Watch Dimensions
  12. Actually, Kings bezel is too high, infact the caseback also looks too thick... have a look at the gen on the top, in the photo below
  13. Interesting how all these 1:1 reps have a case diameter of 41mm, compared to 40mm on the gen.
  14. Surprise, M's dont always line up on gens! HAHA I have seen this first hand. This is a bad way of trying to identify reps!
  15. Thanks watcher. I've noticed that lots of people are using the m's as a clear indicator that it's a rep. Here it's proven that even gen's don't always line up either.
  16. Can anyone please advise as to why we cannot just buy a cheap Noobmariner and mob that? It sounds to me like they both need the same mods to get close to gen.
  17. Thanks watcher. Nice wrist shots! I'm starting to like the SD more and more It just has such a sleek look without the cyclops I'm still wondering about those m's. You reckon thats normal? Doesn't Rolex have like a standard print that goes on all their dial faces?
  18. Wow I didn't know reps can have such imperfections. Especially the m's that don't line up. That can't be normal? I've never noticed that on any other gens. You sure you didn't flog them a modded MBW? How much profit do retailers actually make off second hand Subs? I always wonder about this. Because I know Rolex pretty much holds it's value, but that doesn't mean you'll get what you want when you sell it.
  19. Fine looking time piece Thanks for your input guys. So what you are saying is that a even though an MBW is so pricey, it still requires mods to take gen parts. Can one not just buy a cheap Noobmariner and mod that? Or am I missing something?
  20. I thought they only get released in December? Or did you order the current model?
  21. Ah ok, thought the MBK is some sort of update to the MBW. So I wasn't kidding! I just don't know it all like you Strange if everyone owns one, wonder why I don't have one? I believe these watches take gen parts. Does that mean they are 1:1 in case/bezel/face dial size?
  22. Those MBK's look rather impressive. Anyone own one of them?
  23. From all the dealers currently selling Subs, yes that is the best looking one. The 'perfect' subs being sold by Paul/Andrew/Josh etc currently look the worst. Noob/beginmariners look good. But not as good as this one. Price seem to have little relevance to how accurate they are, looking at the pricey 'perfect' models. So in this case I have totally excluded price from the equation. So that leaves us with an MBW, which I've only heard of, but never seen. Can one actually buy them? And from whom?
