  1. Watchonpo: http://shopping.e-conveni.net/index.html?cart_num=1743 Non-Japanese orders of a limited selection of Watchonpo: http://www.etaworldgoods.com/
  2. No AR coating. This order is off. If you want an AR coating I would suggest coating the crystal.
  3. I am trying them. I am hoping they are SS so they can be polished.
  4. I'm kind of disappointed. No one ever says much of anything other than nice watch. Even when I wear four different watches in a week and when the person making the comment is wearing the same brand. Then again I am middle aged and in most places where I am it would be considered undignified to make a comment. Kind of takes the fun out of it though.
  5. Well, I am enjoying the week on vacation in a PAMoramic wonderland (Carribean). I have seen 7-8 PAM's in a two day period. Here is what is unbelievable - three of them were 187's. Nobody says a word everyone just takes a quick look at each other's wrists and at best nods in acknowledgement.
  6. Yeah, I'm a mod. A member of the Mod Squad that is. Julie, Linc, where are you? I also have to point out that I have now seen a new side of the mods. I did not start this loop with "WTF". What has this world come to?
  7. Rolex 2112 on old RWG started with PAM reps. And now - innumerable PAM gens. I went the other way. Started with gens, now I prefer good reps. But make no mistake, with the amount I have spent on PAM reps I could have had a couple of gens. But where is the fun in that?
  8. Has anyone noticed that the front page currrently claims "2 registered members". Now that is attrition.
  9. Not all models do. And it isn't always the same coating among the models. So not a simple answer. Sorry.
  10. I am with Faber on this one. At least one or two will.
  11. The picture you show is of the Asian 21J movement which sells for under $200. You can tell by the hands and the center pinion. The beauty of the Asian 7750 is that it has the right sized center pinion. That configuration is the one for the cheaper movement. No question. Infer what you will. I would stay away. By the way, I had not heard that the Asian 7750 came with an etched bezel either. Pictures clearly have nothing to do with what he is trying to sell you. And on the markers question. The A and a few of the B series came with no small markings, Everyone since (of the 24 anyhow) does.
  12. If you're wife likes ice, PM Andrew. He typically has some nice iced pieces. My wife's first (and only) rep is a one-off iced out AP mid-size. She wears it as often as her gens.
  13. And now the mystery is whether the one from Shanghai ever comes in. Starting to lose hope on that one.
  14. I suspect the call for other datewheels will take place when Finepics has decided on a new vendor.
  15. I hope you guys are joking. Was beautiful on the old forum. Is beautiful on the new forum. And I am still jealous.
  16. And wait until we see the pricing on the 7753 187.
  17. Don't think the wife would go for it, but it is a good dea.
  18. Has it ever occured to you to take off your watch before starting all that watch work?
  19. If I am traveling with a PAM, I always take it off before going through airport screening. The one time I didn't the alrm went off and then I had to go through the more extensive search. No, not the body cavity search.
  20. Following on Estaban's lead, I am off to the Carribean tomorrow for the week (I won't pretend it is work). I am low on stock with 10 watches in various states of disassembly all over the world. I was going to bring the 187 but it hasn't arrived yet. I don't want to take more than two as I don't want to set off customs. Here are those up for consideration: Fiddy, 183, 2893 GMT , PP Sky Moon, VC Perpetual Calendar, FM Vegas, and RWG watch (not to bring up a sore subject but you never know when you will run into a RWG member. ). I would add the VC Overseas but I just managed to snap off the final closure on the bracelet. Now I have to beg a dealer to source a new bracelet or clasp. Sorry Rolex fans, the MBW's are out for gen crowns and I am still sorting out the whole DW thing with Randy. The best part of vacation, when I come back I am hoping to come home to a 187 and 7750 Submersible. Pathetic, isn't it. Can you tell it is a Sunday morning here?
  21. I would love to know what search led you to that.
