Great points and thanks for the information.
My main concern was sending the watch back as I have little experience in how to deal with the customs issues. ( Didnt want to lose the watch totally )
I am working with David and will keep those points in mind.
I previously had one of Andrews 111's and never had the problem with these straps so I assumed it was this specific case.
Sorry for the bother and thanks again for the info.
It IS this specific case. The problem is, however, all of DSNs cases are like this. Reps from the other dealers won't have this issue.

Those teeth are a reflection of the inner edge of the crwon on the polished bezel. The 027A has the same case as all other 44mm models - I have a friend who has one of these.
*See the pin in the A series CG - the earlier series aren't as well made or as tight fitting as the later CGs....really no better than a Jimmy Fu CG.
OH, yeah, of course. I'm retarded. Thanks. You're right. Haha.

did someone ask about the lume quality ????
rolli
I'm sure it sucks like the rest. I can get it re-lumed so as long as the back looks good and the dial looks good, I'll be happy.
-
Yes, those teeth are wierd. What purpose do they serve?
Funny thing is, I look at large photos like this and then look back at my reps. They look soooooooo small.
I doubt people that have seen a 027A know about the teeth.

Thanks, I've added that to my collection of gen photos I have archived

Check out the pics of this watch on King's site. They show the dial much better. It really has a nice look to it. I'm excited

And the back for fun:

Davidsen cases are slightly different than standard rep cases. One of the differences is that the lugholes are closer to the case. This makes really thick straps rub and fit too tight. I use Toscana/MP/GeF straps on my DSNs w/ no issues at all. I can't put thicker custom straps on my DSNs for the exact reason you state. I doubt him swapping out the case will fix this issue. It's an issue on all his cases unless he has some new different sized ones.

Where are you from in PA?

Oh this reminds me. Andrew said the dial had a gloss to it. Not sure if that means it's AS glossy as the DSN 082, or what, but at least it's not as matte as the photo.
And BZ, was told there were only 5 made. Sniff.
Sweet, that's great news on the gloss. Only 5 made?! Wow. I guess I got lucky. We'll see if I actually get one.
EDIT: I just emailed Josh. He said he has one allocated for me so I will get one of these. The review is back on track
-
Josh told someone on another forum they are sold out as well. They ordered one and got an email from Josh 15 min later with the news. I guess if you ordered one and didn't get the email, you are ok.
Either they only had 10 or these are insanely popular. At $288 a rep for an asian 7750 movt. it must be like printing money.
-
I just PMed Andrew to see if he can source this from his associate, Joshua. We'll see. If so, I could buy the watch tomorrow. I'm very very excited.
Andrew has them up on his site:

Oh dear, that is imprudent...and suspicious.
Nothing suspicious. PM me if you have any concerns.

I ordered one this morning from Josh. I'll post a review when I get it.

Bazonkers follows up noting that autos have thinner crowns, and sure, I've heard that.
But in my thread, I posted a pic of a gen 228 GMT:
Thicker crown than that rep, no? But hey. I love pizza!
Yes, and in my post in this thread I posted a gen 229 photo
The crown looks thin to me on that as well.
GEN 229

you could slice pizza with it....
Same as the gen. Auto PAMs tend to have thinner crowns.
-
Josh posted a new PAM for sale. Check out the back!

Here is the gen. You can find a rep of this as well.

If I told you he takes a day to respond and he took two, you'd be sad
This way, you are happy as he responded sooner than I said! (He does get busy however, and it sometimes does take a while.)
-
Why so many price variants on Trustytimes? Due to movements used? I'd love to order from DSN but get no responses to queries.
Davidsen takes time
. I'd say that it probably would take a week before he might get back to you. His stuff is worth the wait, however.

Bklm1234 sells a great YM. PM him for more info.

I see the 111E from angus has the option for the asian movement. The swiss is worth the 100, right?
I have the swiss from him but he not might have anymore available. I've been hearing good things about the new asian 6497 21K movements, however. The modders I've spoken with seem to really like it. I'm not sure which asian movt. his watch has. I personally have gone swiss if I could in the past but that's getting harder and harder to do. The swiss E bridged movts. (like the the one in this watch) are almost impossible to find it seems. DSN is backlogged on fiddy orders because he can't get the movts. right now.

DSN does not do any 42mm rads. The 204 from Josh looks good and has a Lemania/Venus/Sea-Gull copy movement which is supposed to be bulletproof. It's the closest to gen of all the 42mm rads he sells.
Which Bell& Ross should I buy ?

I have a SS on the way from Angus as well. I just got the tracking number today.
