Living in SoCal I have visited the alleys many times and you are right its not worth it. Nothing but junk and if you thought it was bad try going in the middle of june with high humidity and everyone cramped together in there. I'm thankful we have the dealers we do.

Actually if you read the feedback it looks like the buyer didnt pay for the watch. Maybe he didnt get away with it after all.

I checked out the site and I cant see how to purchase the 2007 model. It seems only the 2005 is available. Am i missing something? Is it sold out? By the way did anyone buy one in 2005? Im curious to see how the gold has held up. Thanks, sorry for so many questions.

They are both his. One is for his eta watches and the other for the cheaper movements. So if you are looking for eta then use the silix prime one.

i used the sticky ball of tape on my dd that was sealed by a repair guy with a rolex case back opener. It took me three days and I ended up spinning the front crystal while I was holding the watch. I also used the tape on a dj from silix and it took one try.

I'm not sure if its all the US but I'm in California and some dealers won't ship if you are in Texas. I hear customs are strict there.

Have you tried the forums at ipodlounge? I always go there when my ipod starts acting funny.
