  1. On the SSD you have to enlarge the rep insert's hole a little bit, but it could work! I did the same on my SSD, but I used an aftermarket pearl. So I guess it's the same for the noob. gen/aftermarket pearls should be bigger than rep pearl. The pearl is slightly off center, but you can't notice easily... If you are so nit-picking, go for the gen insert. Like alligoat said, sand down the insert (a little bit), so it will fit without problems.
  2. Nowhere! As far as I know, Noobmariner won't fit gen bezel/glass! Only WM9/MbK08/Euromariner would do it. Edit: You sure you aren't looking for a bezel insert instead of a bezel? If yes, well noob fit bezel insert. You can find them on gen forums or ebay.
  3. For sure...but it isn't the only flaw.... Don't get mad and enjoy it!
  4. The gen saphire is speechless!
  5. LOL! I hope they didn't screwed up something! Keep us updated
  6. Only gen crown + tube are missing. Great project! It's amazing to see how you fit a T19 on this rep! I'm starting to like the 3-6-9 dial...
  7. So this kind of CN reps with engraved rehaut actually accepts gen dials? Interesting... Very very interesting
  8. The rehaut looks to good to be a SSD. Looks like the glass has no etched crown and the bezel sits high!
  9. Schreibox oder Schreikiste?
  10. LOL! German is now die Schreibox's Offiziersprache... ehm I mean Shoutbox!
  11. Hi guys! I'm looking for a german pen pal! I learned Deutsch when I was at school, but I've never tried to speak it. So my german is rusty and slow. I know a few words but....it's difficult to me to speak fluently... Of course I can speak it a little bit. The usual stuff... Buying souvenirs, asking for change money, going to the bathroom, ordering food, etc.. I'll tell you a funny episode... Once a time I asked the woman is the newskiosk: "haben Sie ein Uhrenmagazin?" But I pronounced "Uhren" like "Huren"... Her face was LOL! By the way I am looking for a pen pal with MSN Messenger, who would like to chat a little bit about watches or off topic In return I could teach some Italian If you are interested in, just shoot me a PM. Thanks!
  12. Clark's one doesn't have laser etched crown. If you are going to build a 16800 or an old 16610 with lugholes you need a crystal without etched crown.
  13. Those are very goint points! From pics you see that the CN case is a little bit different than the noob..the space between the bezel and the cg...or is just the bezel that is larger? The holder ring could be a problem too. Thanks for the advices... I knew that it wouldn't be that easy!
  14. Mmm the clarks crystal isn't bad too! And it hasn't the etched crown... Nice!
  15. Gentleman! I need your knowledge I have a CN GMT and I would like to swap to a better case like the noob gmt. So, following the ancient philosophus Clarksionius: "How hard can it be?" I should buy a noob gmt case+dial, install the new dial+hands and swap the movement! Easy! But I thinked about it...again...and again... and then I realized that.... the date window on the cn dial is too far right.... the date windows cut isn't alone....the date disc it's probably misaligned to right too!!! So, if I swap it and put on a noob dial....the date won't match because of the date disc that was printed for the cn dial! Am I right? Thanks
  16. So, you have a CN Gmt too Am I the only who thinks that its steel is better than the SSD's steel? What are your thoughts? Do you agree with me?
  17. I mean....the ROLEX LOGO on the dial! LOOK AT IT!!!! It looks like some CN crappy dial! Maybe they are laughing at rep factory... Rolex: "Oh, LOL! I would like to see what they chinese will do this time with this crappy logo and the wokky rehaut!"
  18. I was taking some pics....and this happened! To AR or not to AR?
  19. It's not difficult...just be patient...if a screw or a tiny piece won't go back in....take your time, relax and try again. Don't use too much glue!!!! Glue can be very tricky... Don't worry: screwing up things is the best way to learn But if you are patient and do things properly, everything will be fine
