  1. Is anyone selling the strap separately or is it only available when purchasing the chrono? Cheers! Kirk
  2. 6' 7" & 270lbs here... wrist is almost exactly 8"... just a hair over.
  3. Think this one will be on my wrist all weekend... I am loving this watch. Cheers! Kirk
  4. I think that all the posts and opinions in this thread really point out the great selection of excellent reps we have available today. Amazing how much things have changed in the past couple years. I remember when EL came out with the first PAM111 with a "blueish" AR tint and how crazy everyone on the boards went about this "perfect rep"... I think that if that same watch were released today it would be torn apart for all the little imperfections. We have have truly become a spoiled lot... and I'm loving it Cheers! Kirk
  5. Thanks for all the advice guys.... @The Zigmeister... I have read your basics 101 & 102 and had completely forgotten about not changing the date between 10 & 2. It was about 10:30 in the evening when I was trying to do this... doh! Hopefully I haven't damaged the movement... Thanks again for all the replies. Cheers! Kirk
  6. Well, I received my IWC GST Titanium from Joshua and it is beautiful. After getting an extra link (thanks bklm1234) it fits great. Just one problem.... the date won't set now. When I first received it both the day and date set fine. Had it sitting in the box waiting for the new link and it ran down. Got the link installed went to set time/day/date again and the time and day set fine but when I try to set the date I can hear it "clicking" but the date wheel doesn't move. I'm looking at 3 options and would really value your opinions. 1. Contact Joshua and ask for a replacement (although since it did work fine when I received it I don't really feel that it's Joshua's problem). 2. Send off to The Zigmeister/RBJ/etc... to have it serviced. I know that it has the asian 7750 in it, which I've had problems with in the past, so I'm not sure if this movement is worth having serviced or not (especially since it's already giving me problems and I haven't even worn the watch yet) 3. Pay for a new Swiss 7750 and have it transplanted. I know this would not be cheap but I plan on keeping this watch for the long run and putting a gen dial in also, so it probably would be worth it to me. Anyone know if a genuine 7750 would swap into this watch without too much difficulty? Any good sources to purchase a 7750 would also be great (I've just been scouring Ebay). Just not sure which way I should go here... I love the watch so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! Kirk
  7. Pretty sure this site belongs to Richard (author of Replica Watch Report). Excellent blog site for rep fans. edit: like Ubi just said... I've really gotta start reading threads before responding Cheers! Kirk
  8. I'd have to vote for the Inge... I have one from EL (by way of tenacious_ and it has quickly become the most worn watch in my collection. Feels absolutely great on the wrist... size and weight are perfect. Looks like Lello might be coming out with a correct date wheel also which will make it perfect IMHO. Although... I just sent a payment to Angus for the BB too so maybe I'm not the one to ask Cheers! Kirk
  9. I don't know about others but I certainly consider the weight of a watch an important feature. I notice that most of our dealers do a good job of listing the many aspects of a watch (dimensions, back, crown, crystal, etc...) but never seem to give the weight. Just wondering if it would be possible to add that to the descriptions or am I the only one who even cares about this aspect? Cheers! Kirk
  10. I think he's referring to the fact that in order to get the seconds @ 6 functioning you have to heavily modify the movement and the added gears make it highly unreliable. Same problem that was found in the Daytona's with running seconds @ 6.
  11. I've tried many times but haven't gotten anything yet.
  12. A real beauty but with no papers I'd be nervous... http://cgi.ebay.com/Paneraii-Luminor-watch...1QQcmdZViewItem

I'd take at least 1 and 2 if they come out with a titanium version of the AMG. Cheers! Kirk
  14. Have to agree. It's kind of sad how many times I see that MEMBER icon and then a couple of lines below see that they have literally thousands of posts.
  15. That's great news Andrew! I have been waiting for a good rep of this watch since it was introduced. Cheers! Kirk
  16. For me it would have to be TTK... just seems like a fun chap. As for a meeting place it would have to be Switzerland wouldn't it? Cheers! Kirk
  17. Bought one of these my freshman year of college at a JCPenney because I needed a "dressy" watch for a Fall Formal Dance... never looked back.
  18. River - Any of these help? Cheers! Kirk
  19. Omega Michael Schumacher Limited Edition Speedmaster. Reference 3519.50.
  20. Just thought I'd add that I have also purchased from Angus and it was a wonderful transaction. Welcome back! Cheers! Kirk
  21. @bklm1234: Thank you for the offer... PM sent. @JJ: My wrist is right at 8". If you're 8.25" you're probably going to need at least a couple extra links. @Usil: You should be fine. My wrist is 8" and I can put the watch on and close the clasp... it's just too tight to wear... think it would pop open the first time I bend my wrist. Cheers! Kirk
  22. Just received my IWC GST Ti from Joshua and it is a stunning watch. Unfortunately the bracelet is just a hair too small for me. If anyone knows where I can find an additional link for this watch it would be greatly appreciated. Already emailed Joshua so he might be able to help me but thought I'd go ahead and appeal to the forum in the meantime. Cheers! Kirk
