Very un-accurate.. Manual wind and an extra subdial (the one at 6 o clock).
  2. Well I got this leather from a Greek shop in the center of Athens.. Greeks have a big tradition with leather goods and there is a street where you can buy hides.. Lots of shops and hundreds of hides to choose from... Next week I am going back and I will return with many new different ones.. I am open to any suggestions .. whatever you want to see
  3. Thanks rolli... It's not the distressed one like yours Its the normal cordovan like the europelli
  4. I got this today from a trade and I really like it... Like new older version Beautiful Cordovan leather with the old submariner buckle no more available. Beautiful colour and definately a keeper.

Most of the dealers have it now but King's price is very lower than all the others

  8. What the topic says.. I have quite a few sewn-in buckles and regular buckles.. Some people collecting crowns I am collecting the best buckles around
  9. Ok.. my next mission is to find new colour threads.. If Turkey wins Greece this Saturday I will never use white thread again Now seriously it is very pleasant that all the good words came from you.. that you know something more than me
  10. No because the leather is not so soft to touch the skin.. I put him my Italian Tan leather for backing
  11. Thanks guys.. Here is the finished strap with opened holes
  12. I have found 2 wallets from the 50's and 40's to make some straps... Shultzie paid for the strap and didn't bother about the leather so I thought to surprise him. This leather is really vintage from 50's and with a magnificent colour changing from dark brown to light brown. In this one the white stitching works well.. I am waiting for him to tell me if he wants one custom hole or regular. Photos:
  13. BUMP.. this topic should not remain in the depths of the forum.. Practise practise and again practise and you get better and better..
  14. Thanks guys for your kind words... Today I had my first customer and I am making him a special leather strap Will keep you posted..
  15. Well that's a great opportunity for a beautiful franken...too bad the dial and the movement are the most obvious rep parts and extremely difficult to find... P.S. I ' ll be lurking around to see if he is willing to sell the movement after some time
  16. YEap.. and the XaMas is a nice choice for your 112
  17. Very nice.. Beautiful watches and beautiful straps as well
  18. So i think it looks like there is no caseback... hence serial number
  19. PLEASE... Can someone post pictures here? I was never able to see pictures from his auctions... Includes caseback as well?
  20. THey are very hard mineral... definately not saphire.
  21. Warren I will receive the OEM crown this week I will try to take some photos for reference purpose..
  22. Well this is my first finished and perfect strap I have made.. Made from the dark blue/violet-ish colour leather I have.. The white stitching fits perfect this colour and it is made I think very straight and spaced. Perfect with Jeans and casual clothes
  23. Very nice idea indeed.. Well done my friend
  24. I don't understand why so much discussion for that watch... It is a rep and it is ugly.. He has done some minor adjustments to the design (to get the hommage label) that gave the watch a worse look.
  25. Yes that's the strap.. i got an even better deal I have seen the strap in flesh before and I liked it.. and i knew beforehand that the colour on the photos was misleading
