  1. Yes it has to do with play between the gears.

Also some gens have these kind of problems. For instance the minute hand of my gen Franck Muller, jumps forward a little when I push the crown back in.

Regarding the play you can try the following:

When you set the time, just set the minute hand a little too far and then turn it back to the right time.

so if it's 15 past, set it at 18 past and turn it back to 15 past.

    The problem should be gone.

  2. Dear All,

last weekend I got my new DSN PAM0025A...the Titanium Submersible A-series.

Wonderful watch, I love the darker Titanium case, the paris-hobnail-dial is perfect and the tritium colored numbers / indizees are just gorgeus.

I attached a SanDave greyish-brown vintage ammo strap and the look is complete.

Congrats to Davidsens...he did a great job!!! :1a:

Some quick pics for your pleasure,

    Theo

    Hi Theo,

That strap looks great with it.

Is this with the new 6mm cyclops or is it the 7mm one.

It seems like it's nicely centered for the date window.

  3. Very nice, but I though the 25D had the 7mm cyclops?

The gen has a 6mm cyclops and the first batch of DSN's came with a 7mm cyclops.

I replaced the crystal for an ultimate 199 cartel crystal.

Now DSN is also selling them with a 6 mm cyclops.

@ jasonw999: I removed all AR. Also the DSN crystal doesn't have any AR.

@ im2: while I had to wait pretty long for the post to arrive, I serviced an other A7750 and installed the new cannon pinion and Lello datewheel. So when the watched arrived I just swapped the movements. A 10 minute job. I didn't replace it for a Swiss one because I really don't see the need to do that. As long as it's serviced right, it's just as reliable as the Swiss one.

  4. YUp I think it's actally J and up that recieved the new strap deployment system and no grooves in the lugs

My Gen Auto's a gen 297L and Gen 296K have no lug grooves. These lugs are spot on!

this watch is cosmetically perfect to the gen. Shocking!

My be the most accurate non -Franken rep ever produced.

    Very excited!!

I do however expect to need a relume as a lume nit-picker as well as I imagine a lever pin gorilla glue fix

The biggest issue I have with it are the missing silver hand tubes for the chrono hands.

Great watch though. I might be getting it and put my gen 7753 in it.

Anyone interested in an A7753?
