  1. Very nice. Seriously not an expensive way to get into the gen world of Breits.
  2. Why do King's pictures show the new ROO with correct date background in black while A/J are white and incorrect? Wouldn't they have came from the same factory?
  3. What a croc of Sh*t if that is the case.
  4. So you guys are ordering from King or cartel? From reading the past few pages it seems as though King has the cheaper watch and the correct date background.
  5. Guy's i've carried this thread over to RG also so I hope you dont mind. I've got a modded BCE V2 with a Lello DW and i've just wound it round to the 6th and it's exactly the same. Im not kidding the shape of the 6 is a perfect match to the Lello. Now I dont know if all numbers are as per Lello's DW but the 6 is at least at this point. This is great news - Now we can jump on another BCE without the hassle of having to source and install the Lello DW (no offense to lello). That's gotta be a $100 saving!?!. Lets just hope its not a limited run.
  6. Im being told Rainer's are quite expensive but im struggling to really find something close in quality for better. Will check out the bay though so thanks for the suggestions. - The 236 is a 7753. Yes its basically a 250 but with the SS it becomes a 236. I also have a 188 Daylight 7753 which arrived today. Both Daylight's are fully modded with gen crowns, lello DW's, 7753, gen croc, built and serviced by The Zigmeister himself - see my signature. - Yes the 176 is my favorite but I think the 183G and 232 Radiomir's are going to get alot of wrist time once they arrive! Will have to get some fresh pics of it all once its boxed up and the collection is complete. ... yeah - like its ever complete.
  7. Any of you guys own one of Rainer's boxes from Paneristi?
  8. If anyone has one of these boxes and is happy to sell - please let me know. I will make it worthwhile. Cheers
  9. Any updates on this Homer? I am about to grab one of the Reiner boxes but am interested to see what you might have available. Also if anyone is willing to sell thier 8 watch PAM box originally from Homer - please let me know. I'll make it worthwhile.
  10. Very nice. Where did you score that 111H. CG looks like its been modded very well.
  11. Hi All, Well a couple new arrivals this past month and i've gone nuts on PAM. Still a few on their way and just bought another today so its growing!. To think that I had my first rep, a Tag Carrera Chrono for about 6 months before I bought another and then in the past 4-6 months, i've just bought a truckload of what I think are exceptional examples of this hobby. I've come to the realisation today that I desperately need a watch-box. Here's what will go in it. And my absolute favorite PAM - the one that started the obsession. Thanks again to Jaykeem my good buddy who passed this one onto me. PAM236 came yesterday and I have just bought Gianton's 232. I've paid the balance on my 188 Daylight (being modded) so a few more to arrive in the next week. :partypile: I guess i'll just keep on piling them in until that elusive watch-box arrives. Future plans are for a FER008 and 004 and I have my eye on that DSN Cali in the trade area. Cheers, Jay
  12. Im interested in the answer to this also however I believe there are many versions of the genuine Nautilus and both the track and dots are available. There are also variances that come without a seconds hand on the genuine watch.
  13. Im not an active posting member here but I read RWG daily. I basically live at RG so dont hold that against me. While i've not ever dealt with Rob directly - a good bunch of my reps have passed through his hands. (I usually only buy modded reps) The quality is literally second to none and I respect the craftsmanship involved. I dont really follow why there is so much flav bashing. The guy doesn't even work on reps anymore so I dont see the point in bringing him into it at all. Its not necessary and i've seen plenty of flav's work receive the upmost praise. Lets not freak out here - from my interpretation of Rob's posting, he isn't 'leaving' RWG but just stepping back and he will continue to run his business. He will just choose his clients more carefully. Good luck The Zigmeister. Im sure I will one day soon enough deal with you directly, even if it is by reference. Cheers, Jay
  14. Love it!. I've just bought myself a fully modded 188 Daylight also. 7753 movement Angus' fatter dial Old style case Gen croc strap Lello date wheel The Zigmeister relume The Zigmeister CG lever Flav CG pin and Fully serviced by The Zigmeister Just waiting on the Lello to be installed this week and it should be in my hands shortly. Thanks for posting up the pics. I can hardly wait!!!
  15. Thanks. I will. I dont think its a matter of the text being too 'big' but that the relatively white text stands out more than the gen ivory coloring. Incredible example which I will be ecstatic to own.
  16. 176 for me.. *yoink* Seriously the best fully modded 176 i've seen in the past year of looking. I had to have it. Fully modded 188 Daylight on the way also and then its Franken BCE time.
  17. Angus's 111e + 001b caseback + vaclume/cannon pin fix/palp crown = winnar. Once I receive my 188 and there are more asian - dagger - swan neck's available - ill be all over one too.
  18. Was so close to buying this one but just didnt have the cash at the time. This thing was built by flav. Great watch. Wear it well. !!!
  19. I've often thought along the same lines. There's no disputing the popularity of the Monaro and Carrera from Tag however there's definatley something about the Oris Williams watches that grab my attention. Infact im very close to buying my first gen since starting on reps and I was going to go a Carrera, but I am 99% sure I will take the PVD Williams Chrono Oris.
  20. Cars here in Australia are bloody expensive. Just to give you an idea, an M3 in the states is approx $50-60k - in Australia, its $150k. ... and the dollar is 95c.. go figure. Cant access my pics at the moment for some reason but im 26 and in the past 6 years i've had; 02 Alfa Romeo 147 (My first decent car after high school) 04 HSV GTO (Pontiac GTO to you guys but with 300+KW) 06 Audi TT (Modified to hell and back - very nice and quick car) 08 Audi S5 (Just delivered 3 weeks ago - holy sh*t) Some very nice cars posted up guys. Love that '7' and RS4
  21. Sorry im a little confused. The BCE I purchased is an ultimate V2 (afaik) from ajoesmith, a trusted member. I dont have any doubt that this bracelet is from a V2. My BCE is graphite with graphite subdials which is a later edition of the graphite BCE (initial versions had black subdials). My deployment clasp on the rep BCE bracelet is in english. The bracelet has screws, not pins and the text while nowhere near a good as my gen SOSF deployment, is still good even if in english not swiss like my gen deployment. The main tells between rep and gen from what I can see as stated earlier are the thickness of the rep deployment vs the gen deployment and where the clasp lines up to the deployment is different on the rep. I'd probably have to take pictures to explain further.
  22. I've just compared (as best I can) my gen sosf deployment with this and i'd say its genuine. I compared the thickness of the deployment, text, depth of text and most importantly, where the flip lock on the clasp lines up with the deployment. On the ebay bracelet, its spot on with my sosf and way off with my rep BCE bracelet. Again, i'd say this is gen. I checked Authenticwatches.com for a gen BCE bracelet and even on sale they're $1k. Nice deal indeed so long as its not just a photo of a gen and a rep/ripoff comes in the mail.
  23. Having a little play around with it today I guess its the clasp/deployment which is the tinny part. The bracelet itself isnt all that bad - certainly not as good as my gen SMP bracelet (obviously) or my rep Tag Carrera rep bracelet. As I have a gen deployment/strap on my SOSF im making an unfair comparison. The deployment on the SOSF is thicker and has some weight to it while the deployment on the rep BCE bracelet is thin and has no real weight. I too am planning on building a Franken of my BCE (Swiss 7750 + Bracelet). Did you get your bracelet from the ebay add you have also posted about rasta?
  24. Hi All, Quick question. I just got my BCE today (holy [censored] love it) and just wanted to check 2 things. 1. The bracelet is incredibly tinny. Now this is an ultimate graphite/graphite version. In particular the clasp is tinny as all hell. Im lucky in that I have a gen deployment/strap on my SOSF to compare it to but it just makes me desperate to get a gen bracelet for my BCE. Can this be done and do most of you find the rep bracelet on the BCE really tinny? No weight to it. 2. The tabs on the bezel. I was lucky to get a brilliant bezel. Perfect alignment and tab size. The issue here is the tab itself is loose but the screw is in tight. This only applies to the 45 tab. The rest are pretty tight and not moving. Is this also common? Im very seriously considering making this watch as frankenable as possible. Much like my SMP. So that would me Swiss 7750 and gen bracelet and if at all possible, a gen dial however the ultimate dial is brilliant. Love it and will post up some pictures once my sister returns next week with my DSLR
  25. The only rep parts to this franken are the case, caseback and pushers.
