It is a Great post, George. Thanks so much for your experience sharing. You really have brought back the true purposes of RWG.

No offense here, Robi. I am not taking this issue on you. If you will read from other posts in the forum, not only me have been asking questions on the AP RO bracelet/bezel screws.....politely, but simply any feedback on experience sharing was neglected. Just wonder what the heck is the big secret. But I will call this as selfish behaviour. And kiss my foot for admiring these people. Sorry to say.

????? Don't quite understand what is the big secret behind. Thought this forum is opened for members to exchange views and share experience, and help each others out. I found it extremely strange some guys just love to show off what they have done and smile at themselves by looking into the mirror and saying " look, I have done this and you can't, but I am not going to teach you no matter how polite you ask for help, poor lad"...... If this makes these people feel great, it is OK. They can continue to lock themselevs up in a nutshell and keep staring at the mirror admiring themselves. Cheers.

Can anyone help to advise how to remove the permanent link on teh bracelet? What tool should be used? Thanks.

If this is reference as 3700, then there should be no second hands. The hour 12 o'clock indicator is wrong, and the minute markers are wrong either. and then the hour window is wrong too. In terms of accuracy it is quite far off. Are we just talking about its build quality to justify for a top notch league position?

By looking closely again, are the metal ear parts on the side of the watch not quite the same dimension as the gen? Or is it just the angle of the picture taken? The gen. measures 43mm with the crown inclusive. Any idea on this issue?

The bracelet looks pretty big. Are there sufficient removable links to fit small wrist?
-
Don't quite understand why the maker doesn't put an ETA movement as the running machine but of the A7750. This can resolve the jerky second movement straight away. Transforming the 7750 seconds gear to run a big hand simply will not give a smooth movement. For a rep over $300, by putting in an ETA they can still make a healthy profit from it.

Tried the VCO at the AD today, and inspected specially on the AR coating on the crystal at various angles but found a very subtle bluish purple coat only, nothing like the strong purple colour we have for the mod. Perhaps we are all wrong on the VCO AR issue?
-
How about the pushers? Will the gen fit also into the slots? Those on the rep are pretty por quality and look fake straight away.
-
I have seen you have the correct Big Seconds Hand with the red pertaining over the top of the "H", do you do this mod or you got this hand as it is? Seen all the photos in dealers shown the red not passing through the head of "H", if you see what I mean.

Ceramic or not ceramic, it is not too different to tell. Just take out the bezel and feel the weight. Ceramic is much much lighter than steel. True ceramic has an extremely high resistance to scratches, so you can try this out if you dare. Now comes to the cost, ceramic itself is not very expensive but the molding process and technology involved is. Personally feeling, even at a price of $6K, doubt a true ceramic bezel is justified in view of the production complications involved not mentioning the cost for other parts of watch and the profit needed to make. So now, anyone is brave enough to go ahead with the "Ceramic Test"?

How is the quality and finish of the clasp? Does it fit well and comfortable on the wrist?
-
Does the Asian 7750 shares the same winding stem as the ETA7750? Any idea? Thanks.
-
Thanks. What should be the correct size of drill bit to make the countersink?
-
Does the rep. Daytona accepts gen. crown & tube? Any mod is needed to accomodate the gen. parts? Anyone has this experience? Thanks.

Hi RT, Thanks for sharing. Particularly concerns on the polish finish parts of the bracelet. Do they have smooth mirror looks? Previous versions are poor on this part which ruins the elegance of the whole watch, and it is the biggest give away telling people it is a fake watch no matter how many mods of cross, ar coat etc..... are done to it. This stops me from wearing the VCO completely, not even once after I bought it for months. Can you share more on this issue?
-
Chief, Count me in for one crystal in run 5 if it is a double sided coating work. Thanks.
-
Wonder if the VCO has the AR coat. Don't seem to see it when I look at the VCO at the AD today, at least it is nothing purple shaded like the HBB. Anyone can clarify on this issue?

What is the best tool to remove the chrono hands. The normal hand removing tool seems to be too big for the job.

Are these crowns supposed to be spring loaded?

I really need your help to relume my poor dial. As you are the super lume expert who I can only trust, can you help again, Rob? The dial and hands are ready to go at any time. Please kindly consider again. Thanks.

Anyone got the idea what is the best glue for attaching the bezel insert onto the bezel. Superglue is a big no, I know. How about Epoxy? I have no experience on this stuff. What comes to my mind is GS Hypo, but then will it be strong enough to hold metal parts as this cement is meant for crystal. Please help to shed me some lights, thanks.

I did but it still dries up. I think the chemical on the cloth simply dries up when you are doing the polishing in the open air, some of course some transferred to the skin/glove.
-
It wonderful in removing scratches, but the problem the cloth dries fast even stored in the sealed package. Is said on the pack that "a few drops of mineral spirit or veg oil" will revitalize. Does it mean the cooking oil will do the job? Anyone tried as I don't want to mess up the function of it and subsequently make a mess on my watch surface. BTW, what is mineral spirit? Thanks.
