Thanks.
Won't redrilling enlarge the tube hole? This will completely destroy the dimension of the hole diameter, and there is no way back to make the hole smaller in case anything goes wrong.
Hi Randy,
Do I have to retap the tube hole on my Sub LV to accept the 6mm Rollie tube? Or it will fit straight in?
Also I am quite confused about the gasket. Some said there should be one between the tube and the case interface, and some said no. Which is correct on the gen.?
Thanks.
Yeah, may be I used the wrong terms. My watch is running slow, so I want adjust the speed. Regulate should be the appropriate terminology.
My curiosity, what is adjusting the beat then?
Thanks for your advice.
But sorry I don't get it when I look at DW's vj23, there is no such plus/minus indicator there. I know there are such markings like on the 6497 but not in this case here for this movement. You can see from the attached photo for reference.
Any more clue on how to adjust the beat?
Thanks again.
yes, that is exactly the look. Do you know the Rolex ref. no. for the correct crown and tube?
Where do you get the pushers? They have a very long shaft though. How are you going to modify to get them fit for the movt?
BTW, what is the thread size of the pusher, and how about the correct push head diameter?
Thanks.
Intends to start off a 6239 project. Any idea if the gen. uses the 6mm(ref. 24-600) or the 5.3mm(ref. 24-530) Twinlock crown?
Am I correct that the corresponding case tube will not fit the DW case since it has a tube hole drilled for fitting the 7mm crown?
Looking forward to the release of decorated swiss 6498 version with sapphire. Personally, movt reliability is important. Asian movts have given me so much trouble already.
Now found the source for the FM dial for my Conq. Any FM experts can verify if they are authentic or replicas?
Any advice most appreciated before I pull the trigger.
Thanks.
