I may be silly, but by looking at the construction of the crown with just a flat o-ring and no gasket inside the tube and press fit by the CG lever, unlike the screw downs in Rollies, can they really dive down deep into the sea? I do mean the gens. Or do they have different crown/tube/CG constructions than the reps?
To be honest, I am not dare to touch the water with this built.
Thanks.
But I have access to 24-700 crown which also has 3 dots benealth the coronet ( in fact many of the Rollie crowns with different ref. nos. have these 3 dots), will this also fit the 24-7030 tube?
Thinking of changing my Asian movement with a Swiss upgrade. Does the dial came with the Asian movt fit onto the Swiss 6497?
Any PAM experts here has the answer?
Thanks.
Does anyone has a good source of gold electroplating refinishing service provider?
Would like to do it on my rep. case as the original plating is fading away.
Thanks.
Thanks again Ubi,
It does fit. Only the endlinks are not thick enough to cover the whole height of the lugs. Or is this what it is supposed to look like?
Thanks Ubi,
I got the 7205 from the bay but with 60 endlinks. Will this be OK?
The bracelet is kind of strange to me as the clasp is so small, and the links are quite thin too makes me wonder if it is for ladies. The weight of the bracelet is far lighter than the 7530.
But it surely comes with 19mm lug width.
Have I got the correct bracelet?
Hi Mark,
Do you mean 0.44mm measure from top of the hand to the bottom of the tube? Or just the tube extrusion from the bottom measure 0.44mm? If it is the later it is rather hard to measure accurately.
Please kindly advise. Thanks.
If replace with the ETA high cannon pin and hour wheel onto the 6497 movement came with the rep, any mods on the hands needed to give the perfect fit?
Comments from members with the experience most welcome.
Thanks.
