Anyone heard form PAM in these few days? I made the payment for 2 pieces and then hear nothing from him again despite sending PMs in last couple of days.

The sapphire on my Sub is quite flat to the bezel surface. As the gen sapphire is raised from the bezel quite some distance, will changing to another aftermarket sapphire give a more gen look? Have seen some availabe on the bay claiming to have the exact spec to the gen sub sapphire, but not sure if the rep case will fit. Anyone has the experience? Thanks.

Will the crown fit the tube on my PAM case? This tube looks quite different and has a rather small inner diameter. Can the PAM experts here comment?

Hi Rob, Honestly I really don't know where all these mis-understandings started. I must delcare nothing harsh has been said from me in the Forum about the work you did for me. All I know is still today I am admiring the lumes you put on my watches(183, 029 Navitimer...) before, they are still glowing brilliantly. That's why I ask for your help on the relume again. We did treat each other as gentlemen, but sad to see you feel that you can't get along with my request anymore. I surely will respect your decision. Anyhow, if it comes to chance that we can continue our friendship in the RW world, I would be more than happy to know. BTW, your "How To" articles are extremely informative which helped me a lot to resolve the movement problems in these days, it is my indispensible dictionary now. Cheers.

Has anyone ever had any experience with this Co. for touch-ups of the dials? Thinking if it is reliable. Thanks.

The biggest issue is the screws. Some will not hold onto the threads, and some will not come out. Never try to replace the strap coz those screws on the lug plates are terrible, same problem as just mentioned. I spent $$$$ to buy the gen. HBB screws and try to do the switching but they are simply not the same spec as those on the rep.

Am I correct by doing this the tube part holding the stem will then be longer, so at the same time the stem has to be trimmed shorter to fit into the movt to give the correct working distance? Thanks.

Do the PAM hands share the same hole sizes for the Unita 6497 and ETA2892 movements ie. are they interchangable? Will Davidsen/Jimmy Fu's hands fit the 2892 movement? The PAM experts here got any idea? Thanks.

It would be interesting to know how is the quality of the strap too. Don't think an aftermarket exists in view of its speical design.

So he is enjoying life but with me having USD500 paid and not getting what I ordered!!!! What is all this about??????

Anyone got in touch with EL lately? T/T him USD500 for a PAM on 01 March as per his request since his PP account is frozen. But since then got no replies from him despite my many tracers for the delivery details. Sad to see a good dealer (actully he was the very frist dealer whom I got my first PAM) running away with my money. It is fine if he wants to start up his resturant business, but by getting paid from his long term watch customer and then disappear is something I can never forgive. I have paid a very expensive lession this time.
