  1. I will post a review of Ken's products soon. He is simply top notch when it comes to sourcing the best reps there is to offer.
  2. Yep. It was too good of a deal not to test out. We'll see how it comes out but so far, I think it's looking good!
  3. None other than Supermirrors. Has been great dealing with Sead so far!
  4. After all these years of saying I'm really not into Rolex reps, I finally bit the bullet and ordered my very first rolex! Could all you rolex experts give me some input on what you think of this BP Sub-C ND? To my untrained eye, it looks okay. However, this rolex newb doesn't know everything to look for! What's everyone think of the SEL, pearl, CG, rehaut, etc? Thanks everyone in advance for their opinion!
  5. Unfortunately my old DSN 111H had failed me and is currently at my local watchsmith being tended to. Depressed about my only PAM being in the hospital, I had to order myself another one! Please let me know what you think about the 390. Thank you in advance to everyone for their input on my new watch on order!
  6. I am in the process of sourcing parts to repair my 3719 slevin rep and came upon some 3707 gen parts for sale. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? In this case, it is a case tube that I am trying to obtain to fix a stripped crown issue. To my eye, the GST case and slevin case look identical. However, the GST diameter is 40 mm as opposed to the slevin which is 42 mm. Seeing as it is only the case tube, is it possible they are the same size? The thickness of both cases are 14 mm. Please note that these are the measurements for the gen watches. The TD websites note the same measurements. Any help or guidance would be most appreciated! Thanks all and hope everyone had a happy Easter !!!
  7. Any update on the issue? I'm worrying my order won't be in time for my fiancée's birthday
  8. Glad to see RWG is back online! As everyone who tried to access RWG yesterday knows, there was a cPanel login screen that came up. Do we have to be worried that login info was placed in there while the site was down? Do we need to change our passwords?
  9. i'm looking to get this for my dad for father's day. could you PM me the source Pix? thanks!
  10. PAM 111H for the next couple of days.
  11. any further word from your maker rocket? i've been on edge awaiting the update on RG!!! please say you have good news!
  12. may i ask how long it took for the PVD to wear off the bezel? i'm looking at a lite version currently. if it wears off fairly quickly, i might save and spring extra for the ceramic bezel.
  13. don't know if you missed this or not TTK, but natron is out. his info has not been updated on the spreadsheet. hope this helps.
  14. if i'm not too late, i'd be interested in a YM(1st priority) and a black sub
  15. as a dental student, i'll be the first to tell you that plaque control can be great with either toothbrush, electric or manual. it's whether you want the convienence/ease of an electric. dentists will tell you that the electric is better because they buy em at $60, and sell em to you for $120 in their offices. but if you're bent on getting an electric, i can certainly offer my advice. i personally use a oral b triumph professional series that was given to me and have bought and gave out as gifts to friends and family. i believe it to be a great toothbrush. the settings work very well and if you have a hard time adhering to the 2 minute rule, this makes it easier as the brush breaks up the 2 minutes into 30 second intervals for each quadrant of your mouth. once fully charged, the brush can go 3-4 days without another charge, assuming that you're brushing 2 times a day. you can change the type of bristle head you like, but i don't think it really makes a difference. all brushes are soft bristled in comparison to days of old, and the extra "floss" or "polish" specialty heads are pretty much all the same: overpriced and not much difference in performance/function. sonicare recently came to talk to us and are sending us free samples of the new Sonicare FlexCare with UV Sanitizer. they're sending one to us for free, but my girlfriend has already called dibbs on it. if you're in no hurry to buy one, i can get back to you on how she likes it. i can find out if they offer dental student pricing for you, but you'd probably have to wait until the end of january as we don't meet with the sonicare representative again until mid january. hope this helps and brush well!
  16. thanks for the warm welcome and suggestion. i didn't mean to break protocol! i'll definitely be on the lookout on these sub-forums. thanks again!
  17. hello all, as a student making the dive into the rep collecting obsession, i'd like to say hi to all! i'm a dental student looking for a couple reps before x-mas. YM is for myself and the pink datejust is for my girlfriend. i've read some reviews on the noob YM and it looks like it's one of the top value rolex reps available. on a student's budget, value is a very friendly word! i've heard that the asian 21j movements are sometimes crapshoots so i'm looking for one with a 28.8k quality ETA movement. we are required to wear professional business attire everyday so i'm looking for something that goes well with dress clothes better than my nixon watch. as for the pink datejust, i'm looking for one that also has a stable 28.8k ETA movement. haven't seen too many datejust reviews so i'm open to all suggestions. look for a pink or black face. she's a petite girl, so a smaller watch would work best (don't know if they come in varying mm's). she's in med school, so she also needs a watch that goes well with dress clothes as well. how much should i expect to pay for both and where could i find these?
