Hello all - This is my first post ever. I want to purchase the absolute best AP Diver Rep that is available. I have heard InTime and PureTime (not sure which dealer is better???) are the two best dealers. I am looking at these two watches: http://www.intime.co/audemars-piguet/1627-royal-oak-offshore-diver-swiss-eta2824-v7-.html http://puretime01.com/watch-brands/audemars-piguet/royal-oak-offshore-diver/royal-oak-offshore-diver-11-v8-jf-best-edition-on-rubber-strap-a3120.html# They both seem okay - the decoration on the movement isn't the same as a GEN but the rest is okay (I wonder why they are priced differently). Can anyone recommend the BEST dealer or best place to buy a SUPER rep. I am willing to spend up to $700.00 on one. Thank you in advance to whoever helps me out here!

Until now, I have focused my rep buys to Stainless Steel watches. Recently I've been eyeing gold cases, specifically the Patek Philippe 5227 Yellow Gold ( http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_205&products_id=14180 ). The watch is a beauty. That said, I am completely oblivious to the worth, quality, and longevity of different plating. 5 microns? 25 microns? What does it all mean and what does it matter. My curiosity is, 1. Can you tell the difference between a solid and plated gold watch? 2. Is 25 microns enough to last and not rub off? (for that matter, is 5 microns?) and lastly, is the price differential worth it? The 5 micron option is in the 300 range, while the 25 micron option is in the 800 range. This watch is a beauty!!! I'd love to know what you all think about the watch and the gold platting situation.

Hey fellas, I always bought watches with good movements. But now my nephew wants Rolex, a DeepSea or a GMT II. I think he should start with a starter model/movement. But is the quality of the watches always the same? Are just the movements different? For example: http://www.intime.co/rollie/1255-bp-maker-gmt-master-ii-116710-black-blue-ceramic-bezel-a2813.html and: http://www.intime.co/rollie/1256-bp-maker-gmt-master-ii-116710-black-blue-ceramic-bezel-swiss-eta-2836.html I know that the newer version have less flaws. My question is just about the quality (bracelet, case and weight). Hope you guys can help. thanks!!! Meck

Hey there, I'm looking to purchase a brand new Rolex Milgauss, one of the black with green tint ones. I am looking for a very high quality rep that feels and weighs the same as the original. I need this watch to last a long time and resemble the original as closely as possible. The highest I'd like to pay is $180 and I can only pay with PayPal. If any of you know where I could pick one up, that would be great. Thanks, Henry
