Wayward Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Not sure if she's genuine or not...seems a bit of a tall story to me.... Link
georgegrasser Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 It should be reported because of the story alone. Watches don't need a story. She can't verify the origin and refuses to get it checked. She deserves to die.
Guest HaloArchive Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 No boxes or papers and the story... SCAM!
Merlin Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 hey that's a bargain!! It's the famous 0001/5007. Take it as long it's still available!!!
Wayward Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 Wonder was the "lost suitcase" on a flight from Hong Kong?
Wayward Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 It should be reported because of the story alone. I just did!
oberblender Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 I'd say fake... would be quite an coincidence someone lost the first QoS produced... Has serial number: 0001/5007
Dr_Horologium Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Zooming on the Omega logo seems as if it is the incorrect older version as seen on the UPO.
ubiquitous Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Maybe James Bond forgot his luggage somewhere as he was called to duty in another location across the globe? Wouldn't be the first time it's happened. You should see how many watches of his turn up at yard sales, auctions, street corner vendors, etc.

jmarin.72 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Something i could never figure out is how such sellers always have 100% positive feedback!!! Well i guess we might have misjudged her huh???
numptyj Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Zooming on the Omega logo seems as if it is the incorrect older version as seen on the UPO. the pearl is a dead give away also thats the first thing I look at on PO reps
ubiquitous Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 I thought he had several of all dial/bezel combos possible? He keeps his trench coat lined with like 10 or 20 of them, a couple kept in his tux pocket and 3 or 4 more in secret compartments in the soles of his shoes. Add 30 or 40 of them in the glovebox of his DBS and 10 more in his hotel suite. I hear that on days when he's feeling especially mischievious, he'll flush a couple down the toilet in his hotel room to see if it will clog up the pipes. Usually on the last day of his stay... The maid staff hates that shit.

The maid staff hates that [censored]. Wow!!!and instead of losing one of the 60-70 spare bezels and dials that bloody idiot choose to lose the one and only watch that came with them...stupid agent.... well if only he had forgot his PPK in that luggage along with the watch...it would be a great combo me thinks!!!
docblackrock Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Don't need to even look at the caseback or read any [censored] seller's blurb.... The QoS did NOT come in pumpkin dial nor orange bezel. Case closed.

arniezac Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 And the winning bid is................$1,425 Sold to B***g Think I'd change that to Oh B****cks
Guest HaloArchive Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Wow, now we all know how to rip people off to make $$$. You Make a sob story then sell a fake watch and someone will fall for it! I wish RWG had an EBay watchers crew that had access to watch sales and we could end them with a poosh of a button!
Fireman_Fred Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 And the winning bid is................$1,425 Sold to B***g Think I'd change that to Oh B****cks That's scandalous !!! Wayward said that he had reported it to Ebay and so did I - but it still sold !! So much for Ebay clamping down on the sale of counterfeit goods !!
