Well, it's up in the sales section today, you could have gone there to get one already verified to work, or you can get a gen IWC movement from Concepta with the seconds at
JohnDorian
You could freeze the seconds hand as well... Does the chrono seconds hand still work if you freeze the seconds at six?
b16a2
It's a great watch, just a shame about the movement. Try graphite treatment, or frezzing the running seconds for long term use. Also, hack the movement (pull the crown out so it stops) when you're not using it to prevent unecessary wear overnight etc..

JohnDorian
Do you have to be VIP to see the Portu? All I see is a broken one.

JohnDorian
Still curious about if freezing the second hand will also freeze the chrono second hand. Let's say it does fail and the movement is trashed. Can you just put in a replacement norma A7750 and not have a functional seconds hand?

To my knowledge if the movent fails you can revive it with the graphite treatment

kgbAgent
I have ordered a blue donor & a gen movement from concepta. As I am in OZ i wanted to avoid shipping the piece around the world so I got Concepta to purchase the donor & he will deliver the donor & movement to the watchmaker for the mods. I hope to have the delivery in the next few weeks
steppen
If you are sure the watch will suit you, i.e you've tried it on in an AD, then get the gen movement from concepta, it'll make the run as good as it looks.

JohnDorian
I think it does fit after some case or spacer modifications from what I understand.
