Made a lot of money quarter of a million Euros if I'm not mistaken. Nice and all (space suit material-covered case), but a touch of the "NASA nerd with Aspergers" about it.

It's standard collector's mentality. Think of gen and rep PAM collectors who buy 101 variations of watches that really look the same. It's the subtlety of difference that makes people want to get all variants available.
