kent2
so i had a NDT 8mm crown and tube for a project. it comes with no gasket btw. so i first made do with two O-rings (one small and one larger) while i beat the bushes for the gen gasket. no luck. does any one even know the part number ? anyways so i got around to making the flat rubber gasket for it. and then i got a gen crown. and it of course had a perished gasket. so made another gasket. is there a need for these flat gaskets or has some one got a better idea .... freddy333
Let the wife wear the watch when you are doing the dishes (she already seems to be wearing the pants ). All kidding aside, I do not have any gaskets for 8mm Twinlocks, but the part number is 29-0800.
Nanuq
Are my eyes deceiving me, or is that a plated brass bezel on that case??!!
kent2
nope. did you note the soldered in bars ? ok what is the sin with a brass plated bezel ? i just liked it and that was enough....for now
Nanuq
The point is, all original bezels are some soft brassy alloy, plated to look like steel. And HIGHLY desirable. All currently available aftermarket bezels are machined from a harder steel and not as authentic looking.
