Just took some bad pics (difficult with the glass) of my brand new PAM 028 received from Fitch two days after sending the funds! I added a gen rubber strap I had, I also had a Panerai box... Sorry for the reflects on the glass. Best regards

Just wanted to add that the watch is pretty amazing regarding its quality. The crown and crown guard issue is not really a problem to me as the whole watch looks terrific. FYI Fitch bought it to Davidsen

Looks great, congrats on your new purchase! :)

The crown guard on this looks good, the pin is actually quite flat (even the gen has a slight bump). Maybe a PVD T48 crown will finish the watch off nicely B)

Mickey P was right... That CG looks VERY nice! I had to do a double take. I was lucky with my PVD as well. Many times the lever is less than flush. That is a SUPER looking watch, and she even knows how to swim already. Thanks for sharing... (+1 on the PVD T-48)

Just wondering about that...

Can you use the stem for say Swiss ETA 7750 movement (1.2mm)for this watch? I know the stem size is different but if the part that goes into the movement is the same you can actually make a T48 crown work with this movement. I'm thinking of getting this watch with a PVD T Crown too for my next acquisition and still looking for an answer if what I thought is possible could be a solution. I want the PVD version but without a T crown on, I guess the 027A would the way to go...

Has anyone done this?

no you cannot.

only a stem for the eta 28xx series, that means also for the 2892 and 2892A2.

this movement is the basic movement for the soprod module.

so... the stems have a 0,9mm thread for the crown.

that means you have to buy a t-crown for a 0,9mm stem,

or a t-crown for a 1,2mm stem and you have to use a 1,2mm thread adapter-stem with a inner thread of 0,9mm for the 28xx serie stem.

Thanks rolli,

Big fan of your 229 work. Found myself waiting patiently for all the beautiful pictures to load to then drool about having it :-)

Great info on the stem issue. You mentioned about the stem adapter. I guess I know how that'll work, but where does one get a hold of such stem adapter? Seems like a difficult part to source.
