mbjoer
Just a thought: Has any rep actually been seen to increase in value over time?
By-Tor
Not really. Maybe the ones that are willing to take gen parts and are not produced anymore... like the old Noobfactory Explorer II. The old, out of production Speedy BA used to be quite a desirable rep after it went out of production but I guess the new reps have changed that. They're so good that I doubt anyone would be that crazy about such an inaccurate watch anymore. Maybe there are some PAMs though. I have no idea about them. vlaletom
yes, the PAM 196 old case is one. or the old mbw 1665 with working HEV I guess you can find many other example Some old reps where better in an aspect or an other than the current one. So they keep very good pricing when sold. But that just until a new super reps fix the flaws of the current genration. so i don't think you can see this as a real increase like in gen. Pugwash
The old-style Moonie rep gained a little. Wasn't there an old SMP as well?
By-Tor
Wasn't there an old SMP as well? Yeah. But I never understood people's fascination to build $700+ SMP frankens. MORE. People were asking $500+ for these old factory SMP's. 40% of the preowned gen prices. Madness!

andreww
The moonie and the Pam 192 are two examples of watches that went out of production causing their value to rise considerably. Those prices have dropped with time, as those weren't the most accurate reps. The original Ti Chrono Avenger is an example of a watch that continues to gain value. Some of those early Pams with gen 7753s have gained a bit of value as well.
ubiquitous
Jimmy cases and CG's are definitely on the list of those sought after items that have caused prices to escalate. All about supply and demand... And in retrospect, I wish I would have kept my PAM29/2893
