Both brands were fathered by Hans Wilsdorf; Rolex in 1905, and, Tudor, the baby, in 1946.

Tudor was supposed to be established as a more affordable line..I believe...

Thanks everyone! Like I said, I'm not familiar with Rolex / Tudors and I wasn't sure that this wasn't a watch that someone cobbled together out of spare parts (gen & non-gen).

Now, if this was an Omega then I wouldn't be asking this question :D
