yellomen Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Hi guys, I haven't been on the forum a lot the last year, but i would love to share this new watch with you. It started with buying a genuine IWC 3717 dial and hands. Shortly after i was also offered a genuine IWC crown and tube and shortly after that an IWC rotor. There was already a genuine swiss valjoux 7750 in my watchbox and from the far east i ordered a rep case for this model. Unfortunately the case came without movement spacer ring, so that would be a big problem. In China the dealer went looking for the ring... and i waited and waited... In the end my watchmaker, Domenico, whom you all know him of course, told me he made the movement ring himself!! Now that's excellent work He just mailed me the photos of the final product before shipping.... - replica case - self-made movement spacer ring - swiss Valjoux 7750 - IWC rotor - IWC crown & tube - IWC dail & hands - IWC day & date ring And Domenico had the crystal AR coated. So now on to the photos... The set of parts... Making the movement spacer ring... Assembling the watch... The watch completely assembled.... When the watch is here i'll post more photos. For i want to thank Domenico for his excellent work and service!!!

sander Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Again??? It says "Domenico had the crystal AR coated" It doesn't look like chiefs job though
AMK000 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Domenico is a top guy. His work is excellent. He can also do AR .... and even though is not bad , it is not as good as Chief's.
yellomen Posted September 21, 2009 Author Report Posted September 21, 2009 It says "Domenico had the crystal AR coated" My mistake... it's factory AR. Gotto sent it to Chief indeed!!
