freddy333
I promised myself 'no more franken projects' (at least for awhile), but this albino 6202 Turn-o-graph is calling me Specifications Caliber - A.296 18kbph auto-wind Crystal - Tropic 10 Crown - 5.3mm Twinlock 24-530 Bracelet - Expandable riveted 7206/80 (which I have en route from Yuki) Anyone know of a source for a dial like this? Very tasty Is it my imagination, maybe a trick of the light, or is the edge of the rehaut covering the lower half of the word 'Swiss'? That'll certainly be an awesome project, I'll look forward to the progress and finished article

freddy333
Very tasty Is it my imagination, maybe a trick of the light, or is the edge of the rehaut covering the lower half of the word 'Swiss'? It appears so, but that happens with some dials & I know the watch is 100% gen. Now, if I can just source a similar dial.
ubiquitous
I think you'll have to commission one. As for the clipped 'Swiss'... I believe that's just an illusion from the crystal... Edit: On second look, that is the rehaut covering it...

Might it simply be an instance of the case and dial not originally being intended for use together, but the Powers That Be feeling that they were 'close enough' to use? It certainly looks good though Best of luck with sourcing the dial Thinking about it, might MY be a possible source? I think you'll have to commission one. As for the clipped 'Swiss'... I wouldn't say I have the best eye for detail, but even a broken watch is right twice a day
freddy333
Thinking about it, might MY be a possible source? Already checked all the usual suspects (including MY) prior to posting. The standard (black) Turn-o-graph (Sub style) dial can be had, but I have never seen this type. And it is mainly the dial (& dauphine hands) that makes this model so unique. So this project may sit on the back-burner until/unless I can come up with a dial.
