Toadtorrent
The cab makes a great backdrop. I love that DeVille shot. The light studio is working for you.

redwatch
God! Could you imagine if something like that were to happen??? I think I would die from an instant heart attack! I cannot imagine what it would feel like if I ever lost a gen watch somewhere. I would be devastated!

dbutlerman
Nice Pics Red! Clever idea using the car as a "watch holder" for the shots! I can't wait for my light box to come in so I can try it out...maybe something similar - i have lots of car models I can use

Guest ThePhilosopher
Nice collection, a lot of these could benefit from more DOF though - keep up the practice.
redwatch
Your vintage SeaMaster 300 is nice. Tell us about it. You can read about the Vintage SM300 here @ The Philospher - thanks! I am still learning about the aperture settings vs. DOF but I'm starting to understand it more. Thanks for the tip on setting the camera to F16 - F18. That seems to be helping a lot. Especially with the Tamron macro lens.
Guest ThePhilosopher
I have the same lens - if you have any questions about using it don't hesitate to ask; I stop down quite far for 1:1 macros of small objects (f/32, f/51, etc...) to get enough DOF - but I have ample lighting gear to allow for such apertures (as shutter speed doesn't matter much with flash).
