projectologist Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 As posted earlier, I just received this beautiful project from member Ptolomeo. I wanted to show how amazing the re-lume by The Zigmeister is. The Tritium mixture application is perfect. And the pearl aging ain't too bad either... the guy truly is an artist! Here's a quickie iPhone pic for now. I'll try to take more pics this weekend.
Cats Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 That looks real good . Just what we could expect from Zig the master. Carpe Diem Cats
vlydog Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Truly a stunning timepiece. Great work R nice pick-up projectologist
RWG Technical Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Too bad the watch didn't collect airmiles...it sure has been across the pond a few times Glad you like the results, it is a great watch.
FxrAndy Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Very authentic looking i would wear that with pride!
Slartibartfast Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 What stuns me about ZM's work is the 'build' of the lume, how it has an almost domed shape to it. And so even in texture. Truly superb work. A wonderful piece!
Demsey Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 an artist Yes, well, that is the rest of the story. His avatar, not likely to find that as a mere rolled print at the Smithsonian gift shop. 1X copy only. Great watch. Congratulations.
redwatch Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Stunning work as always from Zig! Watch looks incredible!
coolfire Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 I am very sure Zig took a time machine back into time just to get that patina... As always...
