importr
Hi folks My friends 253R (A7750) somehow managed to pop the crystal into a few pieces. Other than asking a dealer, is there anywhere else I can obtain a new crystal (pref. AR'd) for him? He loves his PAM to death, and wants it restored asap. Thanks

hooky
very difficult to get. Best is to order a new case + crystal. dealers don't sell the crystals separate on this one as far as I know.
chrgod
A friend of mine had the same problem, the crystal shattered while he was moving some furniture around and smashed the watch against a door post.. I had no luck finding a new crystal, was sent the wrong one twice! But, another friend used his rep 253 while swimming , of course the watch broke. At least now I can make one good watch out of two broken..

And then again, the pam253 crystals are very easy to crack. when buying a case + crystal from a dealer, YOU'D BETTER BUY 2!!!!!!!!!
importr
Thanks for the advice guys, I tried getting one from the dealer, but no such luck. My w/smith has had a go at replacing it with another PAM crystal, but I have yet to see what it looks like!
hooky
without anything else like the domes crystal of the pam253, it will look awefull. a watch smith works more practical than esthetically and being 1:1 to a genuine...
