Cats
I tried to help a friend of mine by sanding down his insert for the WM9 he bought from Presious TIme. I think i sanded it down a little too much. Now i'm looking for a new one but i don't feel shure which one to buy. I measured the outside diameter of the insert ( by measuring the inside of the bezel ) and i need a 37,7mm insert. All the suppliers don't give the measurements of the inserts so i don't want to buy one in the blind. I read about wholesaleoutlet and jewelryoutlet but do they sell the right diameter ? Which type does the insert for this sub have originally and which source do you guys advise. If talked to him about a gen insert but he doesn't want to spent that much on a insert. Thanks in advance Carpe Diem Cats
tomhorn
Contact BK. I'm sure he can hook you up with a replacement.
alligoat
WM9 inserts are the same dimensions as the gen- 37.6 OD and 30.6 ID. The BK formula is to buy the jewelryoutlet555 insert (Rolex Part # 315-16800) and put the watchmaterial.com pearl in there. Good insert for under $30. Other places also sell decent inserts- you can look on ebay.
Cats
Thanks guys So the rolex part #315-168000 is the correct one. Carpe Diem Cats
alligoat
Yes, the bezel assembly for the 16800 and 16610 are the same. Since the movements are different (3035 vs 3135), the cases are different- rehaut on the 16800 is shallower than the 16610.
