Here's what to do, Cats:

Strip the case down, and simmer it in alum for a while. This will remove any steel impurities on the surface, and avoid any rusting in the future.

When I did this while removing a broken tap from my MBW 1665 case, I notice that a couple of small "pits" developed in the case. I can only assume that these were bits of inferior carbon steel, which were dissolved by the alum.

Frank,

I already put it in isolation with maximum security.

A good clean up during the next modding session on this one will do the job.

One of the modds will be a gen 127 TOP HAT.
